86M Full-Time Private-Sector Workers Sustain 148M Benefit Takers
Buried deep on the website of the U.S. Census Bureau is a number every American citizen, and especially those entrusted with public office, should know. It is 86,429,000.

That is the number of Americans who in 2012 got up every morning and went to work — in the private sector — and did it week after week after week.

These are the people who built America, and these are the people who can sustain it as a free country. The liberal media have not made them famous like the polar bear, but they are truly a threatened species.

It is not a rancher with a few hundred head of cattle that is attacking their habitat, nor an energy company developing a fossil fuel. It is big government and its primary weapon — an ever-expanding welfare state. ...

Tax Rate Paid by Top 1% Is more than double the National Average, the top 1% pay nearly 1/3 of all income tax collected and the top 20% pay over 90% of income tax collected, the bottom 50% of wage earners pay less than 3% of tax dollars collected. But Jim from Lincoln thinks the wealthy don't pay their "fair" share. Well, I must agree, they don't, they pay MORE than their "fair" share and America businesses suffer because we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world. If the price of an item for the average Joe tax payer goes up, and he goes out to find a better bargain, that is called thrift. If the rich have the price of their earnings go up in taxes and they go out to find a better bargain, then it is called greed. In the 1920's, 60's, 80's, and early part of this century, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, the lowering of tax rates has brought more money into the treasury. Even NOW the treasury is getting RECORD tax income but the deficit continues to climb at unprecedented rates. We have a spending problem. We are heading down the path to national bankruptcy, my advise, lay up treasures for yourself in place where moth and rust does not corrupt and where thieves cannot break in and steal, for where your treasure is there will your heart be also, God bless.

The modern American welfare state is a reflection of a culture who thinks,and indeed has been taught by the modern church,that it can bargain with and cut a deal as well as pervert the mercy and love of God,it it will damn America and never save or redeem it.

The love of God can never be called upon or presumed upon without the righteousness of God..any scripture to the contrary within context is welcomed.
