'Biggest land grab in the history of the world'

In a move lawmakers and farmers are calling “the biggest land grab in the history of the world,” the Environmental Protection Agency is requesting jurisdiction over all public and private streams in the United States that are “intermittent, seasonal and rain-dependent.”

The EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in late March jointly released a proposed rule, Waters of the United States, in an effort to clarify which streams and wetlands are protected under the Clean Water Act.

A statement issued by the EPA says “the proposed rule will benefit businesses by increasing efficiency in determining coverage of the Clean Water Act.”

But some lawmakers strongly disagree. ...

What is "gloomy" other than a word used by man to protest the reality of his existence and the world he lives in when it does not suit him,i used to protest life and the way it worked,or in my mind didn't work....now much older I have come to realize that God is,life is and eternity is....I no longer put any personal spin or label on it....or place any grand expectations on it....is heaven and spending eternity there gloomy ? there is a road to travel to get thereand the shorter the better.

The terms "positive" and "negative" are humanistic terms to separate everything in life into simple categories,the reality of God is not that simple.

I do not subscribe to the Christian superstar doctrine that puts forth the idea that God has created everyone to be a David,Noah or Paul,there is no scripture to support such doctrine and plenty of scripture to support the average individual Christian living a quiet obscure Christian life which does not appeal to todays spotlight hungry,attention lusting masses.

Death is the wonderful transition from death to life eternal for the Christian and when Christians start wailing and howling as much as any unsaved person does when their time comes is they are an extremely poor witness to those who they have been telling about heaven and eternal life....if God wanted to make me a Christian super star he would have done it a long time ago,i am content in my state and ready to go home when called.

In the end they are going to take everything you have either by force,currency devaluation or a lack of employement....expect to be destitute and in the street living like an Animal before its over with....this is what waits for the average American,the average Christian faces a much worse fate.

There you are folks plain and simple.
The wonderful people at the EPA and of course those wonderful Democrats who rule all of America today and for the foreseeable future (since the Republicans cannot get their act together) Are doing all this for your benefit. The flood of socialist immigrants pouring into America today will ensure this administration of the people from the top down will continue for the future. Who said America was land of the free?

the oligarchy is losing their hold on the currency and the next resource the world will be fighting over is water.

a few years back didn't they have articles on the coming water wars?

the water on someone's property seen not to belong to that individual, but a collective resource in which they are in charge of.

you'd think during a depression they'd be encouraging people to survive using the land and water for food, instead its a power struggle that reminds me of the iron curtain days.

10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Now if only the lawmakers would do their job...
