Obama Reflects on Resurrection, Kansas Shooting at Easter Prayer Breakfast
President Barack Obama hosted religious leaders from various denominations on Monday for the fifth annual Easter Prayer Breakfast at the White House, taking time to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the "glory of the resurrection."
Participants included Pastor Joel Hunter of Northland, A Church Distributed, who delivered the opening prayer at the prayer breakfast; the Rev. Otis Moss of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, who delivered the sermon; Christian singer/songwriter Carlos Whittaker; Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, who led the closing prayer; civil rights activist the Rev. Al Sharpton; civil rights leader the Rev. Joseph Lowery; Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission; and Samuel Rodriguez of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
Obama thanked the Christian leaders for their work...
I find it interesting that stating facts would be considered bashing. Sometimes the facts are offensive and there's just too much wrong to really be able to concentrate on anything positive. I think a lot of people pray for the leaders without having to take any polls. The same people and topics come up often enough that it would be redundant to continually state that any specific leader is being prayed for within each comment since it's been said so many times over in the past.
Good point. Believe me, we have been praying for his salvation as well as the salvation of all our representatives who live like kings with the sweat and sacrifice of the taxpayers. We also pray that if God does not save them that he would have them replaced with God fearing men.

Well sure, anything other than words of praise and worship for the great leader is "bashing" the biblical thing to do would have been to never have elected him in the first place much less re elected him....but America is not a Christian nation so such choices are not to be expected....you forgot to call everyone a "racist" as well.
Concerning the Presidents remarks of the Lord Jesus Christ....James 3:11-12. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

You know after the president constant praise of the LGBT groups, Planned parenthood, liberal economic policies, etc.it is good to see Him talk about the Lord, His life, His sacrifice and His resurrection. Even if he is not a Christian, I would rather talk about the things of the Lord than all his godless liberal left agenda.
