Study: Noah’s Ark would have floated
NOAH’S Ark would have floated — even with two of every animal on board, physicists have determined based on the weight of the beasts and the buoyancy of the boat.

The students from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester who came to this conclusion used the dimensions for the boat that were given in the Bible.

In the book of Genesis, Noah is commanded to build an ark which is 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits high to house himself, his family and two of every species of animal. ...

Why I think such speculation about the Ark & reconstructions of it are a waste of time:
1) What's a cubit? 1½ ft. say some, but who knows for sure?
2) What's gopher wood? No one knows for sure; maybe it was an extinct variety far stronger than anything since;
3) What was its shape? Don't assume it was a box; e.g., it may've been a lozenge with its beam given as an average or maximum figure;
4) What's a zoological specie, & can we safely assume it's the same as the Biblical “kind”?

Well, at least they didn't make the claim that it never could have floated, etc, because the minds of todays youth have been clouded enough. I think it's shocking how God is being assaulted in todays brave new, anything goes world, has been erased from the schools and public places, is being openly mocked, verbally abused, and treated like a 2nd rate piece of trash; not unlike how Christ was beaten, abused, and humiliated during the days leading up to, and on the day He chose to die for us. "He could have called 10,000 angels to set Him free, but He died alone for you and me."

God would be able to keep it a float even with out this engineering aspect, but God is a God of order and set the engineering standard so to speak so why would it not be correct.
