Pope Francis Announces Names Of Sex Abuse Commission
Pope Francis announced the initial members of a commission to advise him on sex abuse policy Saturday, tapping lay and religious experts — and an Irish woman assaulted as a child by a priest — to start plotting the commission's tasks and priorities.

The eight members were announced after Francis came under criticism from victims' groups for a perceived lack of attention to the abuse scandal, which has seriously damaged the church's reputation around the world and cost dioceses billions of dollars in legal fees and settlements. ...

Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes:
Not enough priests have been brought to secular court--such as ex-Pope B16. The Great Catholic Coverup .

That's right Jim; if John Q. Citizen would have done what these pedophlies have done, they would have locked him up and thrown away the key. But these crooks go to their thug Bishop who strong arms judges and law officials to "let them handle it". What do they do? Cover it up and move them to another diocese to prey on a fresh group of children.

". . . which has seriously damaged the church's reputation around the world and cost dioceses billions of dollars in legal fees and settlements. ..."

This explains why the Antichrist is working overtime to bilk the American taxpayer out of billions.

He is going to establish a commission "to start plotting the commission's tasks and priorities."

Smells like a cover for some other clandestine activity to me. Why is the Antichrist going to do something now when this has gone on for centuries with one head covering up for the other.

I didn't realize there was going to be a total eclipse of the sun today! It must going to happen, since John Y., and I agree on something! Oh, no doubt more pedophile priests will be found. One thing I have noticed about Mr. Hitchens articles he usually have some good links in them. since the article is about four years old, I'm surprised some of them work, but this one was/is good. But Why Isn't Bernard Law in Jail? (Part 2). A real golden oldie, I think one of the Romish higher ups in Philadelphia has been convicted, but these types of convictions are few and far between. Or for that matter in Germany, Abuse Scandal in Germany Edges Closer to Pope. So, Christopher000, what the Magisterium will do is always way too little and way too late.

Chris Hitchens did excellent work in exposing some the systemic problems in Islam and Romanism, it is a pity he didn't die A Christian. Oh, well, The Pope and the Papacy

One of Satan's tricks to confound man and the church is to fabricate a counterfeit religion and its church. In other words he assembles a group of religious reprobates and with the cooperation of sin dominant within them he produces a false church to convince society that Christianity and the church is inherently evil.
One of these Satanic counterfeits is the Roman Catholic fraternity and their brother the Anglicans is another.
Liberalism idolatry blasphemy and crime then becomes part of their output to be condemned by the nations.
Curious thing about it all is that this will never affect the 'elect' anyway.

I'm glad that the guilt ar being persued; darkness brought to light, but...
I will never forget that nobidy voiced any concern, whatsoever, until their dirty little club was exposed, and then it still took this long. Are all priests pedophiles? No. Are there many more to be exposed and hurting children today? I have no doubts.

I agree with you Jim Lincoln that more priests who sexually assaulted minors should be located and prosecuted.
