Obamacare blocks patients paying for treatment

A new report by the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at National Right to Life warns that one of the Obamacare provisions that ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Americans would discover if Congress passed the bill is that some seniors will not be allowed to spend as much as they wish on their health care.

The extreme position was revealed in a special report by the NRLC titled “The Affordable Care Act and Health Care Access in the United States,” which analyzes four fundamental policy areas of Obamacare.

It finds several ways that the federal health care law “will drastically limit access to life-saving medical treatment under the law.” ...

"In 2011, the top 10 percent of taxpayers (with AGIs above $120,000) accounted for 45.4 percent of all AGI and 68.3 percent of all income taxes paid. Taxpayers in the top 5 percent accounted for 33.9 percent of all AGI and 56.5 percent of all income taxes paid. The top 1 percent of all taxpayers accounted for 18.7 percent of all AGI and 35.1 percent of all income taxes paid."

Bottom 50% (that is half the tax payers just for clarification) only paid a little over 3% of the taxes

So, which group would you say, Jim, is not paying their "fair share."? Which group is paying MORE than their "fair share"? (after all the top 5% are paying over half the taxes.)

Obamacare , continues to be a unmitigated disaster, lessening coverage, raising cost and wait until October when premiums double . The new democrat health policy appears to be, don't get sick and if you do die quickly.

Telling as many as possible not to be useful idiots, Jim. Thanks for the heads-up.

As to the question what if they haven't signed up yet? Wait for the next time extension and/or the next exemption list. They may be on it. Of course if they aren't corporate welfare buddies, or political buddies of the prez, their chances aren't too good.

And what is a "fair share" Jim? Who determines that? If one were to arrange one's affairs lawfully so as to mitigate tax and pay the legal minimum, is that not a "fair share" as determined by law?

Penny, Notes on Reconstructionism -- Roots of a New "Christian" Inquisition?, what sums it up is trying to introduce a religious state that isn't from the bottom up instead of from the top down. Yes, a person is stealing when he isn't paying his fair share of taxes, but anyway, The Inadequacy of Moralism covers it very well.

For those who are going to sign up for Obamacare you at least should get started today Deadline to enroll for coverage this year: March 31 (Healthcare.gov)

As far as the Old Testament goes, I would suggest you read:

Ezekiel 34
4 "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them.---NASB

You should be able to get in extension for the sign up, if you had started your application today--at the very least--

It would better if the Romneycare plan was used Mike, it had more guarantees that people would weasel out of their obligations, If ObamaCare Is So Bad, How Does RomneyCare Survive?. ObamaCare's Individual Mandate: What is the Tax Penalty for Not Having Health Insurance.

Yeah, isn't a bummer your country expects something out of you for all the benefits you get from living here?
