A new report by the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at National Right to Life warns that one of the Obamacare provisions that ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Americans would discover if Congress passed the bill is that some seniors will not be allowed to spend as much as they wish on their health care.
The extreme position was revealed in a special report by the NRLC titled “The Affordable Care Act and Health Care Access in the United States,” which analyzes four fundamental policy areas of Obamacare.
It finds several ways that the federal health care law “will drastically limit access to life-saving medical treatment under the law.”...
"In 2011, the top 10 percent of taxpayers (with AGIs above $120,000) accounted for 45.4 percent of all AGI and 68.3 percent of all income taxes paid. Taxpayers in the top 5 percent accounted for 33.9 percent of all AGI and 56.5 percent of all income taxes paid. The top 1 percent of all taxpayers accounted for 18.7 percent of all AGI and 35.1 percent of all income taxes paid."
Bottom 50% (that is half the tax payers just for clarification) only paid a little over 3% of the taxes
So, which group would you say, Jim, is not paying their "fair share."? Which group is paying MORE than their "fair share"? (after all the top 5% are paying over half the taxes.)
Obamacare , continues to be a unmitigated disaster, lessening coverage, raising cost and wait until October when premiums double . The new democrat health policy appears to be, don't get sick and if you do die quickly.

Telling as many as possible not to be useful idiots, Jim. Thanks for the heads-up.
As to the question what if they haven't signed up yet? Wait for the next time extension and/or the next exemption list. They may be on it. Of course if they aren't corporate welfare buddies, or political buddies of the prez, their chances aren't too good.
Yes, in a representative democracy, the government makes many of the decisions. The U.S. isn't a "pure" democracy -- it's a representative one. Of course the Greedy Old Party, represent the plutocracy, q.v., Full Show: Plutocracy Rising.
No, Penny, you seem to have forgotten one little item from the Bible, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's," q.v., Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government. Now, I am just as greedy as the next fellow--unfortunately--but I have no use for Reconstructionism, q.v., ] URL=http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm/Psychology/cor/notes_on.htm>Notes on Reconstructionism -- Roots of a New "Christian" Inquisition? or you should also look first article, Dominion Theology/Kingdom Now/Reconstructionism--Blessing or Curse?. I need to keep these two URLs handy, I keep not noticing how many on this forum belong in this camp, and I certainly don't.
As far as the Old Testament goes, I would suggest you read:
Ezekiel 34 4 "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them.---NASB
You should be able to get in extension for the sign up, if you had started your application today--at the very least--

Ah, force them to buy protection from the enforcers. I thought that was the realm of the mafia, and other criminal types. But there isn't much difference between them and the Washington gang you support, is there?

To answer the question, smart young people won't be sucked into this ponzi pigpen, buying insurance they don't want for treatment of conditions they don't get.
This is Marx’s utopian creed, “to each according to his need.” Can you feel the need America? "Some seniors will not be allowed"; who determines who the "some" are? Maybe if we vote for Nancy again we will get to see who they are.
