Citing Party's Stance on Gay Marriage, Billionaire Pulls Funding From Conservatives

One of the Conservative Party’s biggest donors in the U.K. is reportedly pulling his funding over the Party’s stance on gay marriage.

According to a Tory insider who spoke with the Daily Mail, billionaire Michael Hintze said he was “deeply upset” by the Tories’ “promotion” of same-sex marriage.

Hintze is said to want his £2.5 million (about $4 million) loan to the Party back because he would have also liked to have seen “a more radical economic agenda.”

I think you are thinking of sarcasm. In this instance born of ignorance, but I haven't found much in your posts that doesn't have a large dose of the stuff. The "I'm out of my mind, give me 5 minutes" act was the apex of your stupidity, but even your previous posts indicate clearly that someone had stopped payment of your reality check.

I suspect that you have none other than the adamic nature and that's the difference between you and most of the folk here. You may know stuff, but it doesn't seem to make a difference to your behavior. Pretty much like John Y and SteveR. And that's a real shame.

Sir, I think that your adamic nature is probably quite docile and under incredible control so that you hardly ever grieve the Holy Spirit or offend God.

Do you agree with what I think in regard to your adamic nature?

Since you have defined what I have written let's look at some of that "schoolboy of 10" like "tripe" that I have written:
At 2/27/14 12:00 PM in the Farrakhan urges Christian-Muslim ties
thread I "wrote" this:
"...
As I explained to John UK a couple of years ago, I chose Dopey as a name to help keep me from getting a swelled head.
Before I was saved I did a lot of wicked and very stupid things.
After I was saved, I made some very big mistakes in terms of conduct similar in principle to King David's mistakes.
Using the name Dopey keeps those events before and after being saved as reminders to what my adamic nature is capable of until I get a new resurrection body, as well as keeps me looking to the only one that can conquer that adamic nature of mine:
The Lord Jesus Christ"

Through the day Thy love has spared us;
Now we lay down to rest;
Through the silent watches guard us,
Let no foe our peace molest;
Jesus, Thou our Guardian be;
Sweet it is to trust in Thee.

Pilgrims here on earth, and strangers,
Dwelling in the midst of foes,
Us and ours preserve from dangers,
In Thine arms may we repose:
And, when life's brief day is past,
Rest with Thee in Heaven at last.

Looks like Gil preached a new sermon which Jim's been paid to go make viral.

In response to Jim's inadequacy of moralism statement, all I'd say is that we know that all generalizations are false.

Hey where's JohnYurich USA? S.O.S to JohnYurich, wake up Johnny our ship has come in.
Hallelujah!!! The Roman Catholics have finally taken over control of SermonAudio
A future Pope in their midst, what more could they ask for? Johnny when I become Pope, as I surely will, would you like me to make you one of "My special very junior Cardinal assistant" advisers like I offered to do for Observer if he plays he cards right?
....I might even offer one to the guy who led me down the garden path with advice about eating "lot's of fish" and taking plenty of swims in ice cold water, John UK.
In the meantime though JohnYurich USA let's get to work on promoting the Roman Catholic Church here at SermonAudio.
I've seen the good work you do concerning that matter and I'm eager to help you.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
Ah, the British too, have to learn The Inadequacy of Moralism
The sermon could as easily be called 'The Inadequacy of Self-Righteous Unbelief.
Gil made the contrast between 'moralism'
and 'immoral-ism' similar to that of the contrast between Pharisees (the legalists) and Sadducees (the liberals) or the contrast between the democrats republicans and independents. He said the issue is really between believer and unbeliever. This country needs the gospel and this nation is ripening for Judgment (2012) because of its rejection of God (Romans 1:21) "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened."

General revelation has not been appreciated and it is withdrawn as a nation ripens for judgment. He also said persecution purifies a Church and separates the true from the false. A purified Church (as in China according to Gil) sees an adding to the Church daily such as are being saved.

Jim says the British need to learn this as he saw the Tory donor as a moralist and the problem as his/their self-righteous unbelief in the truth?

That's one of the things I like about you
Duh your such a comedian and can make good use of satire, unlike many here who apparently aren't even aware of the use God makes of it in the Bible.

To answer you directly no I shouldn't be studying the nonsense put out by the Roman Catholic Church and I don't.

I much rather prefer Oliver B. Greene, and J. Vernon McGee from the recent past and past giants like Spurgeon, Moody, Pink, Ironside, Matthew Henry and a host of others, in short men who know what the truth equals---unlike the powers that be in the Roman Catholic Church who don't know what the truth equals.

Duh, I have to admit that made me laugh

By the way have you brought in any more truckloads of those great commentaries you introduced me to?

I have already started in on Oliver B. Greene's commentary on Galatians. So much good stuff there I had a tough time making up mind where to start.

I went with Mr. Greene in the end. Probably because I owe such a big debt to the man. Mr. Greene is one of the major reason I won't be burning the Lake of Fire for eternity.
