Puerto Rico to probe more church abuse allegations
Puerto Rico’s justice secretary said Thursday that he has ordered an investigation into alleged sex abuse allegations involving another one of the island’s Roman Catholic dioceses.

The allegations originate from the Diocese of Mayaguez in Puerto Rico’s western region, and the announcement comes just days after government prosecutors said they were investigating similar allegations against six priests in the Diocese of Arecibo who have been defrocked.

“It’s apparently a much greater problem than previously thought,” Justice Secretary Cesar Miranda told reporters.

The Diocese of Mayaguez said in a statement that it has handled four cases of alleged sex abuse. ...

Well, let's take a look PB,

Matthew 8
29 And behold, they cried out, saying, "What do we have to do with You, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"---NASB

I would suggest you read this article, What Does the Bible Reveal About the Trinity? - Part 2. It will explain to you such things as the Hypostatic Union

Tony Cisneros, perhaps it was one of your alter egos such as Street Preacher, or one of a dozen others? that was born in Puerto Rico? The Tony Cisneros that I did find on the Web seems to brag about being a Naturalist? (No I didn't bother to read because it appears that most of the entries were in capital letters )

Ah, but, anyway, I will point out for those who don't want to run into "Street Preacher," whoever he may be or wherever he was born in the Chicago area and want to avoid him and Red Hot Preaching try out, Christian Fellowship Church this Sunday

My questions stupid? No. Your answers and comments ridiculously stupid, absolutely. All you need to do is quote a little scripture. Are ya scared? Are ya trembling?

Now, show me in scripture where Jesus started an Evangelical Church, a Non-denomination denominational Church, a Baptist Church, etc. And show some scriptures that declare Jesus is God. And explain this to me please:

It is written: "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him [as in a Public Profession of Faith], and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Thanks Dude.

100's of thousands get caught up in the emotion of alter calls set to sweet, slow music with friendly faces waving them up as they watch others proceed in tears. I would say the emotion is short lived for most because not only do they not receive direction or followup, but it was an event based upon pure emotion rather than born again conversions where the masses go and sin no more. I would say for most, the following day is no different than the rest and they crash after the emotional high that made them feel so good. I guess my point is that alter calls are meaningless, and so are any repeated words if that person hasn't changed inwardly and outwardly from that point forward. Now, we all need the time to learn and grow, but I believe genuine conversions will be unmistakable from the moment the Holy Spirit takes us as his own. Anyone can claim to embrace Christ, but if their life doesn't reflect the words, then they're just words.

Oops...did I misspeak? I thought seminarys are Roman Catholic institutions for priests in training. If bible colleges are called seminarys as well, then I was wrong to say that.

The doubter? What is it you are doubting? Everybodies salvation. Well clearly you believe in a faith plus works salvation. Show me why you posted such a stupid comment.

It's by Grace through Faith are ye saved. Got it? Not plus or minus anything. Not because of your relationship with Him, because if you haven't been saved by grave through faith, you don't even have a relationship with Him. It's all in vain. You probably mistaken you dicipleship for your salvation. If that's your case than your the one who really needs some mercy.

Tony Cisneros is back! Yes, I most distinctly remember you said you came for Puerto Rico, perhaps you did forget where you came from? or where you said you came from? Oh, it does remind me for people in the Chicago/Hammond area who want to avoid Red Hot Preaching and get some actual Bible preaching try, Christian Fellowship Church.

There are good seminaries out there, (don't go to the one mentioned in Red Hot Preaching ) Master's Seminary being one of them, STATEMENT OF FAITH - PREAMBLE, you can get the rest of it from this start page.

It's a pity that those in Puerto Rico don't realize, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.

Seminarys are poison. I was listening to the testimony of an ex-priest and he said one of the first things he was taught was to disregard the Bible, sola scriptura. He also said that there was very little actual study of the Word of God. One intensive area of study was on refuting anti Catholocism and answering the questions of the laity properly without leaving doubt.

More strawmen so that you can claim an easy victory. Where does the Bible teach that the words Jesus spoke during his earthly sojourn are more important than any other part of the Bible? Why would Jesus' own words be more important that any other Spirit inspired word?

So its not the parable or Jesus' teachings that are being disparaged. Its your false interpretation. LIAR!
The Gospels are central, defining part of the entire Bible. Jesus authored the whole Bible, but the 4 Gospels contain his actual words and actions while he walked among us when he came to earth as a man. To mock, denigrate his teachings, to exalt any part of scripture above his words and teachings is shocking, to exalt Institutes above them is EVIL.

One woman seminary grad used to post here and once said she'd rather have her children read porn than the parables of Jesus. The things others say here is in that same vein.

Jesus never joked or exaggerated. There is no greater teacher than Jesus. Nobody warned more about sin and Hell, urged people more to seek Truth, Heaven.

His teachings are crystal clear, and that's exactly why the church avoids them because they make it impossible to teach ear-tickling easy believi$m, Fatali$m, imminent rapturi$m and all the other pop Chri$tianity fairy tales.

Everyone here hates the Gospels.

Hi CAB...I don't suppose this will help much, but I've been around long enough to know that all the regulars are seperate, distinct individuals. I know John You Kay well enough to know that he will say what he has to say all under the same name.
Thank you. I will trust your judgment on that. However, it's very hard to trust someone who repeatedly calls me a liar and advocates horrific heresies as he does (bloodless penal atonement and License to Sin), who treats scriptures so lightly, who mocks at Hell and sin, and says I'm not saved because I'm trying to warn people the churches have taken us for a ride down the primrose path of sweet lies. It's hard to trust him when he changes his doctrines at the drop of a hat, as tho he were here to win a debate rather than to share his faith (ie what faith?)..and cares not if he's right or wrong or leading people down the wrong road(s), so long as he can be popular.

Jesus said it's better to have a millstone tied around our neck and be thrown in the ocean than to offend (corrupt) one who believes in Him. Other scriptures refer to people who preach damnable heresies as ravenous wolves. He thinks it's all a joke, like this forum is for play. That's wrong.
