'Son of God': Churches, Religious Groups Snap Up Almost 500,000 Tickets
The Jesus Christ-focused film Son of God doesn't hit theaters until next week, but it's already a hit with churches and religious groups.

These faithful audiences have secured nearly half-a-million tickets to showings across the country, with some even renting out entire theaters and several multiplexes for certain showings.

Produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and distributed by Fox, Son of God features a mix of old and new footage about the life of Jesus Christ from Burnett and Downey's hit History Channel miniseries, The Bible.

The world's largest Christian university, Liberty University, bought out an entire Regal multiplex near campus, where Son of God will be showing on all 14 screens on the film's opening day. A spokesman for the Jerry Falwell-founded school told The Hollywood Reporter that Liberty's giving away tickets by the thousands and e-mailed more than 100,000 people in the ...

Biblical eschatology can be divided into two categories: personal eschatology and general eschatology. Personal eschatology addresses the subjects of death, hell, and resurrection. General eschatology addresses the timing of events such as the tribulation and millennium.

As I hope I pointed out the article, Secrets of the Vatican (video)[/URL>]Catholic Church losing 1 out of 3. Protestants gain. An article by a Canadian, talking about a Jesuit book, that was using Pew results.

Well, as Pope B16 pointed out which is noted in Secrets of the Vatican (video)[Rated M!!!] that the filth comes from with the Romish Church, so accurately displaying that problem, the video is not for children, that's for certain Dorcus.

Mike of N.Y., I don't know what Orientals have to do with this film, but most films made about Confucius have Chinese portraying Chinese characters. No, Adolph Hitler believed or at least said that Jesus was fathered by a while Roman soldier, but we shouldn't be having any of the nonsense in a movie about Jesus or having non-Semitics in the lead roles, it seems that if some nibbling around, Identity: A 'Christian' Religion for White Racists

Watched this last evening...sickened to the core by how satanic this "religion" is. All who think this is a Christian church should watch this.

There is nothing intrinsically racist about all the people in a give area being of one race, except to the liberal mind which sees everything not pc as an affront. Though to find all the whites there being white as lilies might be difficult. What is the correct percentage of Orientals that should be portrayed in a film about Jesus?

Jim before I was saved I saw what nonsense the Roman Catholic Church equals, which is why I quit going to a Roman Catholic Church long before I ever heard of the gospel.

After I got saved the Lord led me to speak out against the Roman Catholic Church, among other ways, through the Scripture approved methods of sarcasm and satire.

My writings are full of criticism of the Roman Catholic Church by means of sarcasm and
satire.

Lurker I am surprised at you. I thought you of all people would be totally familiar with the Genesis story of what God did to Joseph's brothers through Joseph.

For I am the LORD, I change not;...
(Malachi 3:6)

The principles God used concerning Joseph and his brothers at the time of Genesis, God is still using in 2014 if you have to see it. Malachi 3:6 witnesses to that truth.

For the second time tonight, goodnight everybody

It would be good to make sure you have actually repented and in truth called upon the name of the Lord
Because it doesn't take a rocket scientist of a theologian to know even the finest and most beloved among Catholics like John Paul II and Mother Teresa despite the exceptional devotion they had in their Catholic relgion both died, in my words, afraid they weren't good enough, and the sad truth is they weren't and their faith in the Roman Catholic Religion, especially its Mariolotry, failed them miserably
Michael that I "have actually repented" and continue to repent is known to God and He has made it known to me, so I don't consider it necessary to justify myself to anyone, for God has already justified me.

But for the sake of others I will tell you somethings. I was put on the rolls of the Roman Catholic Church as a child and I have never been been ex-communicated by the Roman Catholic Church.

Bro we should certainly pray for them. But the kindest thing we can do for them, because their minds are so closed to the truth is to keep rehearsing on this forum the biblical truths they so hate. The sort of truths that are so clearly laid out in works like the Christopher Wordsworth links I gave earlier.

Will feeding the trolls do any good? I have my opinion which may differ from your thoughts. Seeing Dopey acting like a spoilt 12 year old kid (who knows, that may be his mental age) and the sheer hatred of SteveR for all genuinely born again believers, and incorrigible 3 point Christian profession of JY I hold out no hope of progress unless our prayers for them are answered.

In the meantime of course if we feed them they will continue to try and damage fellowship, sow discord, promulgate error etc. Ravening wolves that they are.

Well Michael I am a "big time RC" but I can assure you that I am not on the way to an "eternal hell for sin and unrepentant unbelief" How do I know that to be the truth? It's simple God told me so:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
(Romans 10:13)
The name of the Lord is Jesus Christ and I called on Him to save me from Hell. And you have no doubt noticed that the verse promises that He would save anyone who did that. I trust Him to do what He promised me in Romans 10:13 and I know He is no liar.

I [Jesus Christ] tell you [Dopey and everyone at SermonAudio and everyone in the entire world], Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
(Luke 13:3)

Jesus told me if I didn't repent I would perish in Hell, so, not wanting to go to Hell I did that. But He has also told that to everyone at SermonAudio and the rest of the world.

Have you repented? If not and you die that way, maybe today even, you will in fact end up in Hell and the Lake of Fire. Jesus told me I'm set and O.K. how about you?

At this point I don't think you are wrong, although for Dopey's sake it would be great.

Anyway, here we have a perfect opportunity maybe even a divine appointment to love an enemy

Dopey, not to be offensive to RCs but we already realize the beliefs of Rome are so contrary and hostile to the Word of God that is just the way it is

And to continue to pray and witness to him, SteveR and even JohnY as we might be led and have opportunity but certainly to pray because apart from the grace of God everyone of us could be a big time RC on our way to the eternal hell for sin and unrepentant unbelief right now. It ought to humble us, and fill us with gratitude that God would save wretches like us and in no way exhonorate any who only pretend they are Christians and know Him.

Not sure exactly what is going on here in what you posted.
I dont' remember saying kind words to the RC apologist SteveR although I have exchanged posts with him so, just never ones where I think we came across as actual friends with each other.
So are you an ecumenical RC apologist?...

btw having been raised in a knowledgable RC family I don't need fake Jesuit oaths to know Biblically the RCC is wrong, so very wrong indeed.

I also have "been raised in a knowledgable RC family".

When my father's sister, my aunt, the nun came to visit us most summers, we had some exciting times.

My sister, Dopess senior, as opposed to my younger sister, Dopess junior, really caused some exciting times when my aunt the nun arrived almost every summer.

One day at supper, with my aunt at the table, my father blew a gasket and stormed off from the table to get Dopess senior who wasn't too keen on joining us all for a true Christian supper

I still have found memories the glow in the dark Virgin Mary on a beautiful blue background that my aunt the nun gave me.

That glow in the dark Virgin Mary against a beautiful blue background truly was a beautiful thing.
