Camels in Genesis Prove Old Testament is 'Very Accurate,'

A professor of theology and Hebrew from Illinois has refuted the claims of Israeli archaeologists that camels could not have been used for transportation by Jewish patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob because the animals weren't domesticated in Israel until hundreds of years after they lived.

"What these archaeologists are doing… is when they read about somebody like Abraham having camels, they're saying, "Aha! The Bible is saying that camels were widespread in Palestine during this period of time, and there's no archaeological evidence for that," Dr. Andrew Steinmann of Concordia University-Chicago tells Issues, Etc., a Christian radio station.

I've not read very much of it, but I came across it just now while looking at the Muhammedan article which Jim linked to. Sure looks interesting.
John my dear brother, besides your encyclopedic knowledge of Scripture and what the Bible reveals you
do come up with interesting links when you choose to post some.

I believe I will spend some serious time tonight dealing with the link you have provided.

Speaking of camels, my friend used a camel to reject the gospel. I was once trying to witness to a friend of mine in a restaurant and I used for my entrance text:

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
(Matthew 19:24)

After discussing Biblical things for a while, my friend basically ended the conversation by telling me in essence Matthew 19:24 didn't mean anything to him as he had read that some scientist had liquified a camel and had managed to pour the entire liquified camel through the eye of an needle.

Which again proves the statement that it is not what is true that matters, but who is presenting it matters. Atheists will listen to anything that argues against Christianity, and Christians will listen to anything that argues against atheism (or whatnot, lol)
