Textbook: Reagan sexist, Conservatives incapable of 'charity,' 'lazy'

A University of South Carolina textbook has one student whistleblower outraged over its accusations that President Ronald Reagan was sexist and conservatives view people as incapable of “charity” and "lazy."

The textbook, obtained by Turning Points USA Founder Charlie Kirk, was authored by Karen K. Kirst-Ashman and used for the three credit course “Introduction to Social Work Profession and Social Welfare.”

And because someone pointed out that it is written: "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" I come to realize the continuing of these "offices" and that I am one that Christ gave "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"

TRINITY:
a word not found in Scripture, but used to express the doctrine of the unity of God as subsisting in three distinct Persons....The propositions involved in the doctrine are these: 1. That God is one, and that there is but one God (Deut. 6:4; 1 Kings 8:60; Isa. 44:6; Mark 12:29, 32; John 10:30). 2. That the Father is a distinct divine Person (hypostasis, subsistentia, persona, suppositum intellectuale), distinct from the Son and the Holy Spirit. 3. That Jesus Christ was truly God, and yet was a Person distinct from the Father and the Holy Spirit. 4. That the Holy Spirit is also a distinct divine Person.

Romans 10:9 states "IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND SHALL BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD THOU SHALT BE SAVED". And during an Altar Call everybody confesses Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Statement of Faith of Evangelical Protestant Churches(Including my brother's Non Denominational Church and my Pentecostal Nephew and Niece In-Law's church) state the biblical doctrine of salvation that salvation comes only throug trusting in Jesus alone for salvation.

That faith has its primary sources within our own breast (Ro 1:19); but it becomes an intelligible and articulate conviction only through what we observe around us ("by the things which are made," Ro 1:20). And thus are the inner and the outer revelation of God the complement of each other, making up between them one universal and immovable conviction that God is. CAB. Can I just thankyou for posting the Arminian Unbiblical fiction.

It certainly helps the Calvinist cause to see the Arminian heresy posted with so much of an obvious lack of Bible doctrine and understanding.

CAB, pointing out the fact that your posts are disengenuous is not mean, its simply the truth. Ill also point out it is far easier to see, and respond to comments on a computer instead of a cell phone, so your excuse for not adressing verses I posted isnt likely. Anyway, I dont want to get in another off topic debate with you, so good night.

Oh and for the millionth time I AM NOT A CALVINIST! ( See what I mean about disengenuous) I believe the doctrine of grace, not because of anything John Calvin wrote, but because I believe the Bible teaches it.

I've answered many of your posts and a lot of your Bible verses. The rules here are one post at a time. So if I'm at the head of other posters, I can't answer any of them until somebody posts ahead of me.
You Calvinists shoot yourself in the foot by your surly behavior, reviling, dirty tricks, breaking posting rules.
I'm not going to bicker with you people.
If you can't handle the truth, don't read my posts. This forum is not a 5- point-Calvinist-only place. Most pastors who use SA services are not 5 pointers, and are vehemently AGAINST 5 point Calvinism, and have no use for Augustine or Calvin.
So perhaps SA wants to get some balance here, and they're letting me post.
CAB says she is balance. We share truth based upon the Word of God. That would make her......

IOW you cannot receive the teaching of the verse in Jeremiah, because your prejudices must overrule the teaching of God's word? You just failed a basic comprehension test!

Life's a test, eh? What percentage is the pass mark, and how do you know you're achieving it?

Your pride and arrogance means you start with a minus 100!

No CAB, the prophet Jeremiah wrote, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" No need to search out fallen angels for the greatest depths of evil.
Nobody doubts human beings are capable of blackest evil. Jesus said most people will go to Hell. The parable of the 10 virgins has maybe half once Spirit-filled Christians (who'd never given allegiance to another god), will ALSO go to Hell!

But that's not the same as saying all human beings are born "totally depraved," unable to understand God or believe in God.

As we get older we make choices, and commit "sin unto death," become spiritually dead like Adam and Eve became in the Garden.

The Bible says "All who hate God love death." People who hate God also hate Truth, and "loveth and maketh a lie," per Revelation. We become our own god, invent our own truth.

An evil-doer is not spiritual, refuses to acknowledge God, even tho God reveals Himself in his Creation and there is no excuse for anyone not to believe in Him.

Esau was rejected because he was earthy, worldly, oblivious of the next life, only caring about now. Esau had great DNA, but was rejected. God wants faith and trust, not DNA.

Life is a test, not a lottery.

CAB wrote:
Totally depraved--"total" means complete, absolute. "Depraved" means rotten through and through, pure evil, corrupt, opposite of innocent.
Wrong!

Total depravity does not speak of the degree of depravity but its extent. IOW not that people are as depraved as can be (your stupid interpretation of it) but that all our faculties are affected by it viz. the mind, the emotions, the will etc.

Explains why you are always putting up strawmen to knock down.

Learn a little before typing any more. Your stupidity is becoming too obvious, even to the gullible.
