IRS Demands Businesses Show “Bonafide Reasons” for Layoffs
The IRS will require employers who terminate employees to show that they did so for “bona fide business reasons” in order to be eligible for delaying the ObamaCare health insurance employer mandate.

Under new guidelines announced on February 10, the IRS will delay the mandate until 2016 for medium-sized businesses employing between 50 and 99 people. Businesses with 49 employees or fewer are not required to provide their employees with health insurance coverage under ObamaCare, as the Affordable Care Act is generally called.

The phasing-in of the employer mandate is designed to make “the compliance process simpler and easier to navigate,” said Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy Mark Mazur. ...

God tells man to work so man has the right to work anywhere in the world and to be rewarded for his labor without strangers stealing their reward. Anyone who prohibits man working or gives permission to work is an antichrist and a blasphemous false god.

The staff would be from temp agencies of course. And why would anybody not be able and willing to use manual typewriters? If someone can type on a computer they certainly can type on a manual typewriter. And ribbons for manual typewriters are available at small office supply stores. You didn't mention anything about the use of rotary telephones. What is your thoughts on the use of rotary telephones?

If I had a company I would not have any computers in the office. There would be manual typewriters, rotary telephones, old wood file cabinets.

What's the matter? They don't like the predictable results of Obamacare? Aside from which, the job of the IRS is to collect taxes; it doesn't have authority to decide whether businsses can lay off workers, nor decide whether the reasons are "bona fide." Aside from which, the Administration does not have authority to change a law already in effect in the first place. Maybe I should stop forgetting this administration is lawless. And it is obvious the move to delay the employer mandate is for strictly political reasons: get beyond the 2014 and 2016 elections before the real mess effectively shows up.

Why don't all companies just use temp workers from temp agencies instead of having workers on their payroll? By only using temp workers from temp agencies the companies don't have to pay out wages or benefits. The only money the companies would pay out would be to the temp agencies to use their temp workers. That makes more economic sense then having workers on the payroll.
