Cry for help from Syrian church leaders

Christians are being targeted by militants in war-torn Syria, say church leaders in the country.

Syrian church leaders raised the warning during a visit to Washington DC last week sponsored by Barnabas Fund and the Westminster Institute in the US.

During their visit, they took part in a panel discussion at the Heritage Foundation under the harrowing title of "Marked for Destruction: The Plight of Syria's Christians".

This has been the plight of all the nominal Christians and the Christians in Islamic countries, and it has been Israelis who pay much attention to it, The forgotten Christians of the East. Bush Jr., made the situation much worse in Iraq, protecting the oil interests instead of other religions, so the U.S. is a broken reed not to be leaned on.

You said "... A thiests are a bit like...". Athiests are a lot like liberals of various backgrounds who don't believe God. That truth is one of things that so fascinated me about the video I link to when I began to watch it.

The atheists in the video are extremely intelligent people, as the world counts intelligent, but when God sends them a person to demonstrate how foolish their beliefs are, as occurs in the video, they crumble quickly and begin to look so stupid that even they begin to understand how foolish they look defending their views.

I have never have had need of Christian apologetics, but recently God has made me aware of the fact there are multitudes who do. Very recently God brought to my attention two outstanding videos in that field which I had never seen or even heard of before. One of the videos I have here presented a link to.

So, I heartily recommend the video to people who wish to be prepared and useful should God ever surprise them with having to get involved with a liberal atheist.

Mike, I am amill -- I believe the millennial reign is realized and unfolding and that Christ is King at this time, in accordance with 1 cor 15, and that our redemption has begun, but it will be completed at the resurrection. hardly the same thing as atheist, more like amen, ok? (please no debates anyone, just stating where I'm coming from!) not to derail the topic from Syria which is muy importante.

Not meaning to offend here, but it just struck me that A thiests are a bit like A millenialists in one way. They base their beliefs on what they don't believe.

I've believed that the Lord opened a door of time for believers to gain the knowledge they need to discern what is happening, but that door will not always be open, the surveillance state has been revealed, and there are already those going to trial, others not among us anymore.
That is a broad accusation for having no proof that relief and help is not being sent.
