'Obamacare' Discourages Work and That's a Bad Thing; Here Is Why
The Affordable Care Act, or "Obamacare," will encourage some Americans to work less, the Congressional Budget Office recently reported. That is great news, the Obama administration argued. Here is why they are wrong.
Workers will choose to supply less labor, the CBO concluded, because working more could mean a reduction in or loss of government subsidies for health insurance. This reduction in labor is the equivalent of two million jobs by 2017, and 2.5 million jobs by 2021.
Americans should feel encouraged by this news, according to the White House, because it means they will have more time to spend with their kids, their hobbies or just enjoying life....

penned and Dolores I thank you both for your kind words to me
Yes, John UK and myself are both "humble and fun loving and secure enough in" ourselves "and God that others' remarks roll off" us "like water on a duck's back".
Why just the other night John and I spent about three hours arguing over who was going to be the greatest in the kingdom. I thought I had pretty well convinced him that it would be me, when he got his second wind and came roaring back with argument after argument that in actuality it would be him.
penned and Dolores you both have a good day and endeavor to spend the rest of it doing every thing to the glory of God like He wants His real children to do.
Dopey, frankly I think your comments are amusing and so refreshing. John Uk is like that also. I wish I could carry my comments off with light hearted banter or banner like some can on this forum. I loved Poor Little Fool also. Your moniker tells me you are humble and fun loving and secure enough in yourself and God that others' remarks roll off you like water on a duck's back. Sorry, I was born and raised in Alabama and I still have southern ways of expressing myself..have a good day.
The news says: "Americans should feel encouraged by this news, according to the White House, because it means they will have more time to spend with their kids, their hobbies or just enjoying life. ..."
Kumbaya. Where's my pipe? Mommy, feed me, I'm hungry. What do you mean get a job? I'm only 42. The gov says I should spend more time with my family. That's you, Mommy!
Christian leaders won't just say it? this is restructuring of society, its about power. its not just this in isolation, you've got nsa and common core. every breath they take, every thought they make, will be data to deem someone acceptable or not. this will change how court cases are run, evidence will be held by an unseen writer, and there will be no way to redress. we bicker about bc pills, (which are abortifacients), while they force everyone on a system that openly admits is going to force some to not get treatment, when the world has multiple options for health that actually resolves health problems for a lot less. the health is in the land. once that food supply is tainted, there is no health, we think we can abdicate that responsibility and then go to Darwin for a chemical pill (we aren't just chemical machines created by a big bang accident!) words cannot express the changes this represents, there's no poem that captivates it. the one glimmer of encouragement I have is when they reject people for chemo, perhaps they'll finally open their minds to other options that have helped many and not hurt their body at the same time! when I think on what people call "treatments" today takes me back to leeches and non-handwashing, crazy stuff these modernists.
get real, after careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that you shouldn't be so shy but rather should come out and tell John Yurich the way you really feel.
Now you have made me feel bad get real.
Perhaps i shouldn't ever play again my all time favorite record from Rock 'n' Roll's early era, a song that was #1 on the hit parade in August 1958---Maybe I should send "Poor Little Fool" to John Yurich by way of an email?
... words can not express how dumb you just sounded ...
how is that?
my husband the failed drummer of 34 years ... the music industry is satanic and full of backstabbers waiting to just use you as a stepping stone ...
are you good at playing "survivor"? or at being the last one left in the "big brother house"? if you are then you are not of God, cause you have got to betray and lie and cheat and steal ...
katie perry lied that she was a friend to christians until she made it big... then she denounced us ... she was a wanton woman anyway and the fools who believed her have a part of helping her wickedness will pay for it ... loye be a partaker of those sins? dont get me started on the satanic gospel music industry, or how much drugs they do Christian Rock Exposed
This is ridiculous that individuals would rather be on assistance from the government then working. I am on government assistance but I don't like and I can't wait to secure a full time Data Entry job so I can get off of government assistance. And when I reach 65 years old I will not be taking social security. I will not need social security since I will be a multi millionaire from having a small Country Music/Country Gospel Band recording Country Music and Country Gospel songs and from concert tours.
