Plans to assign every child in Scotland a state guardian could lead to good parents being penalised, an academic has warned ahead of a final vote on the issue in Holyrood later this month.
Sociology lecturer Dr Stuart Waiton said the ‚Äúsecrecy‚ÄĚ inbuilt in the SNP‚Äôs proposals ‚Äď which would give children a ‚Äėnamed person‚Äô to monitor their progress ‚Äď is a ‚Äúcause for concern‚ÄĚ.
‚ÄúIt will take very little to trigger an investigation into a child and from there a false picture can easily be arrived at‚ÄĚ, he said.
He said innocent aspects of a child‚Äôs life such as what they eat or the views they express can make ‚Äúgood parents fair game‚ÄĚ in the eyes of ‚Äúhealth and safety zealots, obsessed with risk management‚ÄĚ....
Bureaucrats do not expect or allow (if they can) normal people to make the right decisions and choices.
Modern politicians especially socialists see interference in peoples lives, as them doing the right thing to help.
Liberalism has polluted every aspect of community and social life to the extent they see the nanny state as the only way to run a nation. That's why the neo-moral standards of total independence has come on scene. But independence is only acceptable if you do what the bureaucrats tell you.
Religion then must be modified to fit into this new culture then it will become just like the 'official' Chinese church. A state run church/religion which deletes the parts of the Bible which conflict with the bureaucracy.
Quote; "‚ÄúIt is incredible just how far the state is interfering in the lives of Scots‚ÄĚ, he added."
