In South Sudan Conflict, Churches Attacked, Looted
African church leaders are urging parties in the South Sudanese conflict to respect places of worship, after rebels attacked and looted church compounds in the town of Malakal.

The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Malakal was looted at gunpoint, forcing priests and civilians to flee, a regional church leader said.

Catholic and Presbyterian churches, a hospital and an orphanage have become safe havens for refugees escaping the fighting in the city.

well, its true, once one brings in "conspiracy theory" we are taught like lab rats to shut the door and get a treat. I guess the treat is that we can see ourselves as intellectually superior to those crazy journalists of old who used to investigate worthy questions.

today it is more in vogue and acceptable in postmodernism to not know, to be "relative" and relegate thinking to others.

but for some who still think, because of this short window in history, we can do what tv showmen won't do and look things up ourselves on the internet.

for instance, we can share with each other actual discussion on the congressional floor regarding funding rebel jihadists for whatever agenda they deem more important than stable society and safety for Christians.

Title: Rand Paul: You will be voting to fund and send arms (US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Syrian Transition Support Act of 2013, Amendment Hearing and Vote, May 21, 2013)

I really don't know who's funding these rebels in sudan.... but would like to know, because of love of the brethren.

so who's paying these rebels and what is it they want there?
conspiracy websites will say they are being paid directly of indirectly by the government, they don't need proof, just need to take their word

These areas are filled with wild, ravenous beasts...of the human variety. Living and thriving in a fairly civilized society, we are so detached from the horrors that go on around the world. We get news bits and sound bites but they fail miserably in representing the real evil that is running loose in the form of man. Yes, I know it boils down to being Godless but the depravity, utter disregard for human life, and lack.of any empathy whatsoever is astonishing and I scratch my head wondering how any man is capable of literally butchering and raping women and children, torturing and killing the men in the most horrible of ways, etc. There's a void where their soul should be and it's been replaced with a thick, black, demonic sludge.
In my darkest of days, I could never imagine taking a life, not to mention what these people are capable of.
