Are Some Evangelical Pastors Using a False Roman Model of the Kingdom?
In summary, the Roman Church has its own empire with an enormous subculture in which it (as a religious nation) relates to secular nations and institutions. Thus, the Roman Catholic application of the kingdom of God is extremely church-centric, which leads its adherents (in each parish or diocese) to depend upon their local church to exert religious influence in society instead of obligating non-clergy members in the marketplace to influence culture.

Consequently, this has become the subconscious model for many evangelical pastors in Roman Catholic paradigm cultures, resulting in many senior pastors of megachurches acting like popes to their large congregations and building their own mini-empires! Their (Roman) interpretation of the kingdom has resulted in further empowering a (pope-like) top-down leadership style without processing decisions through a multiplicity of ministers, as well as the use ...

Don't know why believers get wrap up in religious rules any ways its all about Christ god in the flesh dining for us all no one is different from the next if they are truly believees i have an unction from the holy one and need no man to teach me for he teaches me all things don't get wrap up in religious rules for it is foolishness in gods eyes its all about Christ crucified for us he did it all we can add nothing to it believe this its that simple that the gospel

All of the other spiritual attributes listed are applicable to all believers. But, in order for our leaders to justify themselves, they pretty much only stress these verses are primarily applicable only to them. Sort of a higher calling purpose. If someone disagrees, please show me the attributes other than the ones I listed that are applicable only to our leaders.

JSC, similar experiences here as well. wow, the elderly with wisdom just wouldn't get "with the program" -- as they would warrenize, they learned how to essentially treat them as "resistors"... here you are with people who've served the Lord with grace their entire lives, sacrificed and in their older years pushed out by the youth wanting to "focus their market"....

We have had similar experiences JSC...
have moved trying to find a church home..the Svengali like preachers out there are frightening! Most are not God called..

I came out of the Chuck Smith Calvary Chapel association and this article hits the nail on the head. None of the 3 I attended had any elders, only one had A DEACON. The direction of the church was solely up to the head pastor and was not to be trifled with. They lived in million dollars homes, ranches, drove nice cars. One got divorced and never stepped down. I watched staff get fired over not sharing the "vision", there was a sense of fear in those places.

It wasn't until I left did I fall under authority to where there was a lot of accountability. I understand when these are called "rock stars" what that means. I wanted to be like them, they just gave a speech twice a week, played golf, met with a couple of people and had nice things. I was duped! This is why I am a solid seperatest now. I am still dealing with the pain of living under that popish regime and never want to see someone subjected to that

If "church" has anything to do with God and His Son then church is not applicable to the Roman Catholic organisation.

People who follow the teaching and doctrines of the Roman Catholic Vatican follow the antichrist as well as idolatry and blasphemy.

The Reformation in the 16th century was an act of God to remove His church from Satan's grip, the Roman Catholic institution.

The unbiblical traditions and heresy of the papists has excluded them from Biblical Christianity and sound doctrine, proving them to be under the papal antichrist. This is the road to hell, a man made Christ excluding ideology and methodology.
