Kleiner Perkins Disavows Founder’s Letter Comparing Outrage Against Rich to Nazi View of Jews

A top Silicon Valley venture capital firm on Saturday disavowed the statements from one of its founders comparing growing anger toward the rich in the United States to Nazi Germany’s singling out of Jews in the 1930s.

In a letter to the editor that appeared in the opinion pages of Saturday’s Wall Street Journal, Tom Perkins, a venture funding pioneer and co-founder of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, wrote:

“Writing from the epicenter of progressive thought, San Francisco, I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its “one percent,” namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the ‘rich.’”

Since many Americans have both parents working, and sometimes one or both hold down more than one job, they are not only not following a Biblical lifestyle, Instructions to Wives, Mothers and Their Husbands, but they don't have time to watch t.v. Only the unemployed, i.e., the very rich and the very poor have a lot of time to watch t.v. --at least they have one thing in common.

Wow, so one of the mega-rich think the peons ought to know and keep their place! Hmm, By the Numbers: The Incredibly Shrinking American Middle Class.
