Grammys to Feature On-Air Homosexual 'Weddings'

At the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, pop’s megastars will compete for the music industry’s most prestigious trophy, and put on flashy performances that are sure to ricochet through social media.

But the producers behind the program, which is to be broadcast live by CBS at 8 p.m., are hoping that the biggest show-stopper of the night will be a much more solemn event: an on-air wedding of 34 couples — gay, straight, old, young, of many races and many colors. The ceremony will be part of the hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s performance of their Grammy-nominated song “Same Love,” which became a marriage-equality anthem last year just as that issue was drawing intense national attention. ...

this is a cognitive decision made by the tv industry and music industry to push it. the target is Christianity. homosexuality is a means to an ends. also fits right into the depopulation/eugenics mold, which is what gates and other millionaires and billionaires advocate.

if one looks at media ratings they are in the gutter, at this point it seem more than just money making, this is a religion.... a religion bent on searing the conscience from the human experience. Praise be to Christ who forgives sinners through His atonement, unto a new life.

Please post some scripture that supports blaming Homosexuals and their behavior on anyone but them, the divorce rate among Christians is indeed high but that has nothing to do with the pursuit of acceptence by Homosexualswhat would you say if I said that the Catholic church and its child molesting priest are the cause.

The biblical standard is one woman and one man for life, that is what Homosexuals and some christians are rejecting, using the bahaviour of others as an excuse will do them no good, you are definitely into second and third party blame for everything.

I view them as two seperate, but serious issues which need to be addressed. As for the homosexual weddings, the lifestyle itself sends all to their eternal destruction and the public nuptials glorifies and condons not only the lifestyle, but lifelong, same sex commitments to the younger generation. The world tells them gay is okay, God made you this way, God loves you either way and don't let those hating Christians tell you any different...just be you. Yes, Christian divorce rates are out of control, wrong, etc, etc and the church should be taking it much more seriously but God never destroyed an entire city because Christians got divorced. He destroyed a city because of a very serious abomination which has been resurrected and is now being glorified and even encouraged in the US. This particular abomination sends people to their eternal dea.

Really, the article is not about divorce or anything else in the church. While it is good for us to be reminded that judgment begins at the house of God and we need to keep our own house in order, that does not mean we cannot show disdain for an attack on the morals and values we hold dear. If problems in the church would stop it from speaking out against anything, it would go silent.

Good morning brother John...nice to see your post and it was a blessing .
My husband and myself have found this to be true in our lives and the world and it's pleasures grow dimmer the closer we get to our blessed Lord.
Top o' the mornin' to ya Dorcas, and your husband. Yes, it is a most wonderful thing, this upside down faith. If you die, you will live. If you are weak, then you are strong. If you give up one for the Lord, he replenishes an hundredfold. Oh wonder of wonders, that all is in Christ, the perfect Lamb of God, who is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

Chris: "Just lately I have begun to not only comprehend, but feel this. Something that can't really be put into words properly."

Quite so, Christopher, it is better felt than telt. The unbeliever cannot grasp of it, it is beyond comprehending. Here's something else to get your head around. We love our neighbour as ourself through loving God, not our neighbour. When we love God aright, we will love our neighbour aright. Until then, we might love from a carnal attitude.

Observer: It is true brother. We need to focus our thoughts on the beloved Saviour, and be devoted entirely to him who is worthy of all worship and honour.

An excellent quote from Brother Leonard Ravenhill, Randy. Indeed, if anyone continue to increase their love for, and joy in, the Lord himself, there comes a time when they need not any entertainment at all, for they are taken up with God and enveloped in his love, knowing joy unspeakable and full of glory. The advice to that end, of the Apostle is:
1 John 2:15 KJV
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The expression "love of the Father" can also be understood to mean "love for the Father". As I see it anyway.
It is a good thing to be circumcised in heart to love the Lord with a whole heart (Deut 30:6), which admits no rival (which thing soon turns to idolatry and loss of blessings).
Psalms 16:11 KJV
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Such an inheritance too often neglected by the people of God.
Good post bro! We all need much grace to be spiritually minded, to have spiritual appetites and tastes. Sadly all too lacking in too many who profess the Lord's name!

Just lately I have begun to not only comprehend, but feel this. Something that can't really be put into words properly. A genuine understanding of this comes when one puts Christ first in their life; above all else, hating mother, father, brother, sister, and their own life. This is difficult to understand for many and even more difficult to do but if we genuinly pick up our crosses to follow Him, everything else that is so very important to us now suddenly becomes meaningless because all we will want to do is learn more and serve more. He knows what we need and we will come to understand that we, as born again Christians, need not worry for tomorrow any longer.

I mentioned Roman Catholics because that what most are up here, but I didn't mean to limit it to them. Pretty much everyone I see post on Facebook in the ways I mentioned are Roman Catholic, a lesbian or two, and a new ager/buddist or two.

Not all that long ago, I would never have dreamed that this would be happening, and with the full support of many who will tell you they are Christians if one were to ask. I was just thinking last night as I lay in bed about how confused so many are. I was thinking about how one of my sisters posted up John 3:16 on Facebook which gave me some hope, but right after, she posted up something that said if you share it, God will do.a miracle for you that night. Shortly following, she was talking about underwear and posting lewd quotes and pics I see this daily with the Roman Catholics around here. I was sad last night because they feel that as long as they were baptized, go to mass and confession, they are Heavenbound; living as they like, evidenced by the things I see and her every day.
