Obama: Pot No More Dangerous Than Alcohol

President Barack Obama believes smoking marijuana is a "bad habit" but thinks legal penalties now fall disproportionately on minorities and that states legalizing pot should go ahead with their plans, he said in a profile released on Sunday.

"As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life," he is quoted as saying in a New Yorker magazine article. "I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol."

The president said he has told his daughters smoking marijuana is "a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy." ...

Oh, no doubt true Mike N.Y., which is why Colo. won't do anything about Pot, even when it results in death, like this, Young man leaps to death after eating pot-laced cookie .

I'm just listening to one of Nebraska experts on smoking. He pointed out, that raising taxes on cigarettes is the best way to bring down smoking rates. Our state has too many idiotlogues in our Unicameral,, and they won't raise taxes on anything! It would be a good thing if taxes were raised on tobacco products. One hope that Colorado will tax pot to death.
The fellow from the American Cancer Society of Nebraska was against the ACA making it more expensive for smokers to get insurance, since smokers are less likely to see doctors and might take the penalty for not having it.
Pot is as dangerous as smoking?

If smoking is dangerous, why isn't it banned? I'll tell you why: the govts like the tobacco tax. If they raise it, it's not for health sake, but for revenue.

Potheads are pretty darned mean. They want their stash, the stash comes first, last and in between. They steal, lie, and are oblivious to the harm they do to their children and others, don't care if they kill people in their cars, or as a result of their sloppy and careless work. They try to get everybody else on the pot, about the only other thing that motivates them other than smoking it themselves is getting others to do it too -- and thereby they ruin lives right and left.

I don't like potheads. Their reasoning powers are out the door, their conscience is shriveled, and they are into all kinds of other evil stuff in addition to their pot smoking.

The way to get right with God is to trust in Jesus, to repent and turn. The blood of Jesus will clean us, deliver us from sin addictions, and restore us from being a spiritually dead person to one who is alive spiritually.

Smoking pot is a sin addiction. Pot is highly addictive; it's a hallucinogenic drug, one of Satan's favorite sorcery drugs, and opens a person up spiritually to visions and hallucinations that result in people having delusions of grandeur, even thinking they are God. The Nirvana experience will often happen in the initial pot smoking experiences, which is a lieing vision created by the arch-deceiver, Satan. Satan's lie in the Garden, "You shall be as Gods."

My first posting experience on the Internet was a site called Excite, and there was one posting group there exclusively composed of people who believed they were God. No joke. Love and lighters.

Assuming you don't drive the kids nuts when they first get higher than a kite, trigger schizophrenia or other lingering mental disorders (the first trips are like LSD) .. thereafter the kids will be in a kind of stupor, constant stupor.

Autistic kids have a problem focusing. Pot will not help them, and will destroy their ability to focus. Kids need to have clean water, and nourishing, whole food, not processed denatured food. Fresh real food, fruits and vegetables, and good whole milk and bone broths, nice fruits for snacks, mix up smoothies with frozen bananas and milk and eggs.

Drugging kids is so wrong. Drugging them with pot is even more wrong. Please don't. I can't even contemplate this. Don't people know that children need good food and sunshine and exercise and to keep them away from the video games and TV. Give them artwork and hobbies, pets to care for, regular chores, teach them the things you know how to do like fixing things and cooking. Drugging kids is just not right.

"The Census Bureau's official measure of income inequality — called the Gini index — shows similar results. During the Bush years, the index was flat overall — finishing in 2008 exactly where it started in 2001.

It's gone up each year since Obama has been president and now stands at all-time high"

Jim seems to forget that during the first 2 years of the Obama administration he DID have control of both houses and near super majority, that is how we have Obamacare hoisted on us, because they had to pass the bill before we could find out what was in it. Also, note that the gap that stayed flat during the ENTIRE Bush administration but has gone up EVERY year of the Obama administration.

But to the president's credit he does have a plan to narrow the "gap." He plans to bring all down to the level of the poor and that way everybody is on an even playing field.

If he wants true prosperity, he could follow the Reagan plan.

In the same article it reads:

"Obama said narrowing the gap between rich and poor would be a key part of his legacy."

So that's what pot has done for him? I.e., thinking that his legacy would be the NARROWING of the gap between rich and poor? Is he serious? After all, the gap has greatly WIDENED between the rich and poor under his tenure as POTUS!

I think Obama is STILL smoking weed.

Okay, I'm talking specifically about a child who suffers from seizures. Do you know if marijuana can be useful for treating seizures? By taking in pill form, not smoking.
No, no, no. The pharma companies do not make pills with the CBD cannabinoid, or it is negligable. It's THC in those pills, and Pharma knows that's what will sell.

There are other things to do for seizures. Getting people high on a sorcery drug, especially a little child, actually anybody at all -- is an extreme example of what Jesus was talking about when he said it would be better for somebody to have a millstone tied around their neck and thrown in the ocean than to do something like that.

Whether it is smoked or eaten, it is an hallucinogenic drug, and the first few times it's no different than LSD. People go on these pot trips and are never the same again. It does indeed trigger schizophrenia, and I know it does, and I've seen it.

I have done a lot of research on pot, and I have had my own share of personal experience with it in my own life.

There is absolutely nothing good about it. It does not cure cancer, other than maybe if somebody is using that in place of the Standard of Care, which anything is better than that.
