Bill Nye, Ken Ham Creationism Debate Tickets Sell Out in Minutes; Streaming Info Released

"Sorry, all tickets for the debate with Bill Nye sold out within minutes!" Ham posted on Facebook on Monday, when the $25 tickets for the Feb. 4 debate at The Creation Museum's 900-seat Legacy Hall in Petersburg, Ky., went on sale.

The debate will center around the question: "Is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern scientific world?"

"This debate will help highlight the fact that so many young people are dismissing the Bible because of evolution, and even many young people who had grown up in the church decided to leave the church because they saw evolution as showing the Bible could not be trusted," Ham has said about the upcoming debate, asking supporters to pray for him. ...

That's public ed for you Jim. Maybe more of it in Common Core will make things better.

From the same survey:
"In the same survey, just 39 percent answered correctly (true) that "The universe began with a huge explosion" and only 48 percent said "Human beings, as we know them today, developed from earlier species of animals."

"true"? "earlier species of animals"? Yup, more public ed results.

Ken Ham would be right if he pointed out that Americans know more about how the earth and people were created than those in the EU and China. 1 In 4 Americans Thinks The Sun Goes Around The Earth, Survey Says

J4J, As I've already mentioned Mr. Nye, probably doesn't come for free. He's lucky he isn't debating bad Billy Clinton, I think he charges from $300,000-$500,000 for an appearance.

Mr. Hamm may also be tossing any excess money into the general fund of the museum, and this might be a way to get extra money--how much extra money see the above on Mr. Nye.

Jim Lincoln...
Yeah, gas to drive to work, lol. It's at the Creation Museum in the 900 seat Legacy Hall. 900x$25=$22,500. I hope he has enough money to get to work that day!

J4J, Ken Ham may have expenses, and no doubt Bill Nye didn't come cheap.
