Couple who are just friends allowed to adopt, judge says in landmark ruling

In a first of its kind ruling in New York, a Manhattan judge has given a couple who're just friends the green light to become legal co-parents to an adopted girl.

The pals identified, only as LEL and KAL, met in 2000 and have been close friends since, according to court papers.

Several years ago, KAL decided she wanted to become a mom, and LEL offered to be her sperm donor.

Here's why we are experiencing all these departures from morality and traditional marriage...

"For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

Romans 1 is being fulfilled before our very eyes...

That's funny, considering how short a time the country has existed. We are merely catching up with the rest of the world, which has thousands of years of corruption for us to attain to.

...Finally, the one thing that continues without end are the heretical doctrines which always have, are, and will continue to the end of days sending billions to their eternal destruction. To me, its not a stretch to view the Roman machine as continuing their historical role right up to the end.

I would say that fitting the Roman religious machine into the scenario is the view of most, as opposed to some. No all, of course, but most, I would say. I have listened to many of the more technical arguments for the different views on this topic, with an open mind, and I always go with the Roman system, hands down. Romes has played direct roles in the most heinous crimes known to mankind throughput history.
They humiliated, beat, and nailed Christ to the cross, they murdered an estimated 50m during the inquisitions simply because the martyrs wouldn't conform to Romes many heretical doctrines, such as transubstantiation, indulgences, etc. Rome fully supported Hitler and Mussolini by taking money and signing concordats to turn a blind eye to the mass murder, torture, rape, and experimenting on millions with the agreement that Roman Catholocism would be the state religion. Then, after the war, the Vatican arranged rat lines so senior officials could escape. Finally, the one thing that continues without end are the heretical doctrines which al

I'm with you. Morality would save America. Plus, America is corrupting and taking the world down with it. Jeremiah 50 says about America: We would have healed her but she would not.

America is self-destructing. The churches that preach easy believism and license to sin, fatalism and lack of responsibility for choices and behavior -- are a huge part of what's wrong with America.

Some people say Babylon of Rev. 16-18 and of Jeremiah 50 and 51 is the Roman Catholic Church -- but the shoe doesn't fit. Anybody who reads those scriptures can easily see they are describing end-time America.

I am personally making plans to permanently leave the country, not ignoring the many urgent Biblical commands to flee Babylon.

Jim I agree, morality isn't going to save America, but I'd sure like to see some morality! I walk into my local grocery store and I have to keep my head down! Now you are older than me so this probably isn't a problem for you, but for me, seeing all those abominable ads and all the girls my age with immodest clothing, I can't look at that without being tempted! (I'd appreciate prayer) So I keep my head down & I sing my favorite praise & worship songs. My point being, I'd really LOVE some morality.

TC, I think you really have to recognize The Inadequacy of Moralism. Considering this country is not a Christian country, and probably never was, this shouldn't be surprising. Still, I don't think it should be forgotten, Instructions to Husbands, Fathers and Their Wives. the acceptance of no-fault divorce and just plain living together, has been a destructive influence on society. The only way the society will be improved, and there is nothing in the Bible to show that they will be even by the increase of the number Christians, Ford to be any improvement at all, there has to be a trickle up pattern established by such things as people going up, The Roman Road.

John Y., this is what happens when you have so many non-Christians in an area, such as Catholics, Is A Catholic Christian An Oxymoron? (Yes!).

It almost drives me to insanity looking at society's morals. I can't even begin to tell you how many people my age I've seperated from, because of their low view of marriage. I can't help but wonder, how does God feel? He gives us the wonderful gift of marriage, and we (not you guys, I just mean society in general) take this beautiful gift, throw it in His face and say, it's not good enough.
