SPECIAL REPORT
Happy New Year from SermonAudio!

(Photo: We have a small band of very dedicated men and women who work hard to bring you SermonAudio. We value your feedback as we strive to improve the overall experience. But we most especially covet your prayers for us.)

2014 is finally upon us!

As we enter our 14th year of operation here at SermonAudio, we would like to wish all of our broadcasters and listeners a very happy and blessed new year!

A few weeks ago, our staff met for our annual Christmas dinner to celebrate and reflect upon God's faithfulness and help in 2013. Looking forward, we continue to understand the important place of prayer in any Gospel endeavor, even with a website like SermonAudio. We are fellowlaborers in the Gospel of Christ (1 Thess 3:2). And it is our great desire to partner with like-minded churches and ministries all over the world to assist in the spreading of faithful preaching to the ends of the earth.

Will you endeavor to pray with us and for us to that end? Please remember us.

All the laboring and working in the world cannot regenerate a single soul. We certainly need to plant and to water, but only God can give the increase. And except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. We feel the strength of that truth only too deeply as the years roll on. Much like trying to row a boat grounded in mud. As James Frazier once put it, let us pray for the "spiritual tide" to rise in our generation so that the same amount of effort expended, may allow us to see us go farther and faster.

We live in exciting times. In our generation, technology has allowed us to communicate and reach people in ways we could never have imagined a generation ago. But these are also perilous times. Going through the news items on this site makes that only too clear. However, this is the time we have been handed. It is our job to put our hand to the plow afresh for this new year and move forward by God's grace.

Happy New Year!

Hmm, I might blame my speech recognition program for that. If it was done by a tablet, I have one that can use Google Speech, the computer I have been using of late has Dragon Naturally Speaking, so yes, I blame what they recognized on them, unfortunately me, not catching the mistake especially when I could remember what I actually said, I do have to blame on myself. I did do a sloppy job of copying the URL for The Inadequacy of Moralism.

"sell wall," looks like it should have been "solved." I really, really do want to make it easy for you guys to understand my posts, I may strive harder in the future to do so.

Anyway, "Social Gospel," be it liberal or conservative generally causes more problems than it solves, q.v., The Unscriptural Theology of Amillennialism and Postmillennialism.

Perhaps Jim will blame his tablet for his garbled posts.

Good thing he made it clear that he doesn't advocate anarchy; he had me worried there.

Ah, Mike of N.Y., I not only mentioned, URL=http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=118121637304>The Inadequacy of Moralism, but also, Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government.

I don't advocate anarchy. Now of course it would be great, if everyone were Christian and acted as such, perhaps we wouldn't have to have a civil government at least in law enforcement. But, that is not the case.

1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority,
2:14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.---NASB

Ah, you really should read the article, you are a member of a fringe group who would let smallpox and polio run rampant. From the picture given of the SA group, they aren't too many senior citizens in the group, and they are the most likely to catch a standard flu. I did get the Hong Kong flu -- and I didn't like it. But of course it's up to them, and there are some as a matter of principle (really misguided principle I might add) who will avoid vaccinations.

This man had the right refuse the flu shot, and the company has the right to fire him, Florida Man Loses Job for Refusing to Get Flu Shot.

The majority of educated people have no problems with vaccinations, and this is what the CDC has to say about it, Key Facts About Seasonal Flu Vaccine. It's not only stupid for a young person not get vaccinated, it is also immoral.

The new year according to God doesn't start on January 1st.

And it is a really wicked thing for you to tell the SA people to get a shot of disease and poison that will make them sick.

Just sayin, but I'm not surpised.

Yeah, and which one's the mohamedian Jesuit? Just kidding.

SA, via the internet, has made it possible for Christians the world over to share and interact with each other.

We are, after all, parts that make up the whole.

Thank you and others here on SA. I have been richly blessed by you.
God bless

God be praised for SermonAudio. May he be pleased to bless everything to his own glory.

I still plead for the return of the forums. It's no good complaining about news threads going off topic, when you have removed the very thing which would prevent that happening. A whole lot of folks only wish to discuss theology and how that works out in practice. The forums were the perfect way to do that.

Our church has been on SermonAudio for over 7 years now. We began with much reservation, but today, we are very thankful for the opportunity we have proclaiming the truth of God to the whole world. It has been a great blessing to our church. I also want to thank the wonderful staff at SermonAudio for their gracious and kind assistance to us broadcast amateurs. You all are great, keep up the good work for the sake of Christ and His kingdom.

I find sermonaudio very informative on christian issues you don't find just anywhere. The media, normally, doesn't carry this type news. Thanks for keeping Him close by to enjoy and be blessed by. God's blessings be with you all during the coming year. I will be remembering you in my prayers each day.
