White House Gets Down and Dirty to Promote ObamaCare to Homosexuals
The White House appears to be getting down and dirty in an effort to convince members in one of its major constituencies — the activist homosexual community — to sign up for ObamaCare. Last September the White House partnered in a campaign called Out2Enroll, which organizers describe as “a campaign to inform lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities about new coverage options available through the Affordable Care Act and to encourage LGBT individuals to enroll in coverage.”

The Obama Administration is growing increasingly concerned because not enough homosexuals are signing up for ObamaCare and time is running out for them to make the deadline to enroll for “coverage” beginning January 1. The Washington Post noted that a “disproportionate number of LGBT Americans are uninsured and qualify for federal premium subsidies,” which is why the White House has stepped up its efforts with ...

Jim, your logic seems to be... those conservatives are evil for not forcing healthcare on people to help them by analyzing their daily habits and deciding they shouldn't get care and sending them home without hope.

I suppose one can ask what care should the community provide for people who have shot themselves in the foot (you know like stupid gun owners) motorcyclists who might need years of care because of hospitalization, because they refuse to wear their helmets, smokers who get lung cancer, etc.? I suppose insurance companies may have made them pay higher premiums or not cover people at all such as pregnancies for women. Hmm, something else the John Birch Society doesn't want to cover. Anyway, I'll admit there aren't simple answers, at least for Christians.
There are simple answers, but they do not appeal to the sinful and indulgent nature of man

In other words, they were receiving care albeit mainly emergency care. The system was already absorbing those costs, so your response is a non sequitur .The question is, will government oversight make the healthcare system more efficient with preventative maintenance despite the extra costs associated with the extra layers of bureaucracy?

If the failure of other government programs is any indication, ACA will be a dismal failure in all areas but one. It will only be a success in government management over the type of care one can receive

1517, it's not going to be saving much money if any, or less even? If these sinners are not covered with some sort of healthcare. They will just come into emergency rooms or get other type of assistance which will take from the pie of available money.

It would be a shame if they were treated better than chronic smokers who are also adicted to a sin, one that society somewhat approves as is drinking as well. One could also be angry about providing care for these people as well.

There is no getting around it, if more people knew How to Have Victory Over Sin, everyone would benefit, including financially.

It is clear that Obamacare will cover perversion along with the consequences. There is a portion of the article that reveals that transgender hormones are covered and pre-existing HIV/AIDS infected are covered too. It is one thing to cover people with cancer or financially destitute, but this is depraved. Besides, why use sexually charged ads? I thought it was a lifestyle...madness.

"an effort to convince members in one of its major constituencies — the activist homosexual community — to sign up for ObamaCare."

Why? Does Barack have a special provision in Obamacare for HIV/AIDS?
