Jesus Christ Is No. 1 In Top 10 Most Significant Figures In Human History, According to New Ranking Based on Wikipedia

Jesus Christ has been named as the most significant person in human history ever, according to a new rankings system that based its listing on Wikipedia data. The list was created by analyzing the impact a figure has had on people's opinions over history.

Two computer scientists used the popular online encyclopedia to creat a list of the Top 10 Most Significant Figures in Human History by measuring the impact on opinions certain individuals have had over time, and how that has reflected onto their Wikipedia pages.

Jesus Christ came in number one in the listing, beating out Frenchman Napoleon Bonaparte into second, with Englishman William Shakespeare coming in third. ...

Ah, John Y., being an irritation on more than one forum? Your leader Frannie wouldn't agree with you, "We cannot insist only on issues related to abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods. It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time." - Pope Francis, September 19. You should be calling this guy nuts!! (Christians just call Frannie immoral ) But this Pope should make you nervous, John Y., Not everyone loves Pope Francis:...

So, is Christ #1 of course, but Mary is not #2 as the Romish Church would have her, What Is the Unique Role of Mary in Roman Catholicism and Is It Biblical?-Part 1

John U.K., just to let you know,

What are the ‚Äúfive solas,‚ÄĚ and what do they mean?

As far as the article itself is concerned,

Isaiah 29
15 Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the LORD, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say, "Who sees us?" or "Who knows us?"
16 You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made should say to its maker, "He did not make me"; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"?---NASB

The article is worthless to a Christian, man can't judge who is #1.

Personally I don't call Roman Catholics Christians, but if they are panicking about losing the struggle to the secular side of society, they ought to read their Bibles and realise that it is already foretold.

So rather than joining up with those who believe in justification by faith alone in Christ alone, in hope of keeping their cause alive, they need to review all their false doctrines and practices, and have a thorough reformation which goes even further than the Protestant Reformation, making every RCC quite independent and autonomous, led by elders and deacons, preaching salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and then baptising the converts in the name of the Trinity.

GS

A word yo the wise - Don't be taken in by his smooth words. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing, and you'll discover this the longer you're on this board.

He is a Roman Catholic pretending to be a Protestant. He has no grasp of biblical truth and will take every opportunity to defend the RCC cause. That is why he hates people on this site viz. because we speak out against Romanism.

So rather than share the Gospel with the wicked, you insult them? Way to go Steve. Perhaps you should read 1 Peter 3:15, I seem to remember something about answering with meekness and fear, not insults.
You would assume incorrectly, I do share the Gospel with them. Sometimes they accept and repent, other times say they accept the Gospel but want to still cling to those sins. The visible Church is full of people that want to be non confrontational and let sin infect the church. They respond in the manner as you did. Its much like the many here on the Message Board. They say they accept & proclaim the Gospel, but are servants of wickedness. It doesnt surprise me their uncontrolable hostility towards the ELECT has led demons to possess & torment them

By the way, showing someone in Scripture that something is detestable, is not the same as your petty insults towards those who don't hold your opinion of doctrinal matters.

SteveR charismatic? Hmmm.... Nah!

SteveR an Apologete? A Roman Catholic apologete, yes, but certainly not a Christian apologete.

Street Preacher, Chicago Politics, or whoever you are today, make sense, man. Seriously, get some professional, but Christian councilling for your own good before Satan drives you to kill somebody or something because you heard a voice.
When SteveR is finished hugging and kissing his pastor {tear} maybe you two divisive demoniacs, posing as born again Christians can start your own club somewhere else.
So, why did I mention that guys pastor? Seems mean, huh? Well, here's why: if SteveR is the product, which he must be, of his pastors spiritual leadership and guidance, then he, pastor or not, gets no respect from me. He hates anyone who is smarter than him, doesn't agree with him, and who backs up what they say using the bible, even calling God's children demoniacs, possessed, Satanic, lost, and not saved. Born again? I think not. If he is so in love with his pastor, and SteveR only loves others who are hate filled, angry, and divisive like himself, well, you do the math.
I dont see Street Preacher or Chicago Politics on this thread, are you talking about 'Crying in internet wilderness?' or were some posts removed?

Which is why SteveR needs to be BORN AGAIN.

And that is in God's hands, not his.
