‘Deny Christ or Die,’ Boko Haram Tells Young Christian Woman
A Christian woman was recently held by Muslim terrorists in Nigeria and ordered to convert to Islam or die.

19-year-old Hajja told Reuters she was held by the group Boko Haram and told to renounce Christianity or perish. Members of Boko Haram threatened to slit her throat if she did not give up her faith in Christ.

Hajja’s last name has not been released as she has family in northern Nigeria, who could be in danger if identified.

She described the moment a knife was held to her throat, and her life threatened. ...

When the time comes for us all to stand in the valley of decision as this woman had, may the Lord at that very moment give us all the grace we need to faithfully confess our Lord. Pray that our brothers and sisters in Christ will be filled with His Spirit as Stephen and Peter were in that hour. See www.persecution.com for more info on the persecuted church. Heb 13:3

Shane, prayer is something that I have meditated on a great deal. I recently noticed a hypocrisy in me that I will share. I am one who when he prays, always adds, “but not my will but Thine will be done.” – 1 John 5:14,15. Now I pray daily even though I believe that God’s will for our lives is somewhat fixed as it was with David; Psalms 139:13-16. He is sovereign and all knowing, therefore He knows what we need before we even ask Him, (Matthew 7:7-11) but at the same time He has told us to come boldly before His throne of grace; Hebrews 4:15,16. And of course you and I could quote so many examples of prayers that were answered in scriptures. About 2 months ago, I prayed for a physical problem and God removed it instantly. We cannot be Christians with the spirit of deism; Zephaniah 1:12, but we must believe that He hears and answers us; Psalms 65:2. But, here is the hypocrisy that you can pray about. I have been praying for years for a physical issue (not life threatening), but when God doesn't give me what I am asking for, then I think He didn’t answer the prayer. So, even though I say I trust completely in Him and pray “His will” be done; my trust was really in my circumstances and not Him. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks brother. If I'm kind it's because of God. Praying for you as well.

Amen Frank. Merciful words brother.
Thanks shane, you are such a kind fellow. I am still praying for you also, that the Lord gives you the peace that surpasses all comprehension in Christ Jesus.

John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven

Peter denied our Lord and Savior and God granted him repentance. Let’s hope He does the same with this lady.
