Texas Student Suspended After Ripping up Bible at School
A high school student in Texas is threatening to sue his community's school district after he was suspended for ripping up a Bible in one of his classes. Isaiah Smith, a senior at Birdville High School in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills, Texas, was suspended after he brought a Bible to his first-hour Spanish class and ripped pages out of the book of Leviticus in front of fellow students whom he accused of teasing him over his supposed homosexuality.

The 18-year-old Thomas said he took his Bible to school on October 29 because he claimed he had been harassed by other students in the Spanish class over his sexual orientation. He said that when students told him he was going to hell, he tore pages out of the Book of Leviticus, because, he explained, it was the book of the Bible often quoted in condemnation of homosexuality.

“At my high school, some kids like to say that being gay is a ...

Heath B., what I would mean is that God isn't "warm and fuzzy!" This student and John Y., should realize they face the same punishment for how they both disrespect Christ's sacrifice, The Terrifying Consequence of Willful Unbelief

Ephesians 5
5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
7 Therefore do not be partakers with them;
8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
10 trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;---NASB

John Y., has been exposed to the knowledge for years that he should Come Out Of The Catholic Church. He refuses to ergo; he isn't Christian.

Man when did Christian men confuse love for sissyfied sentimentalism! Gods greatest expression of love was CRUSHING HIS SON UP ON A CROSS. LoL it really bothers me when we talk about love apart from an agonizing penal substitutionary atonement. There is NO greater love than He who lays his life down for his friends i.e. DIES FOR SIN. Praise God.

I think we outta stick with the KJV Jim. I think that's like saying a person can't be saved and yet still sin while in their fleshly nature.

No, John Y., this queer said he was queer and Christian. This was his personal Bible. If it was the bombastic KJV, he probably didn't read it anyway, Restating the Obvious about Bible Translation. Otherwise he would also know that the New Testament makes it plain that one can't be queer and Christian:

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
1 Timothy 1
9 realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers
10 and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,---NASB

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jot and tittle;
Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Yes Anthony B. Your correct jesus did say if you love him you'll keep his commandments. And yes jesus is god. And yes the Ten Commandments are his. But correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there one cammandment Jesus demanded us to keep? I beleive it was to love one another. Not just those who love us but also to love our enemie as hard as it might seem. I'm by no means supporting this young man with his problem with homosexuality and I'm grieved at the fact he tore pages out of the bible.
But for those other students to tell him he's going to hell because he's gay. Need I remind that Jesus blood covers us from "ALL" sin. And if those students who were attacking this young man even though they're not gay don't get saved they'll drop into hell just as fast.

In other words instead of attacking someone because they're committing a sin we should be reaching out I them and presenting the gospel to try to save them. Agree?

Jesus said if you love Him you will keep His commandments. Jesus is God. Ten Commandments are His. He ripped up Gods Law. Wats the opposite of love? Hate. Hate Gods law, Hate God. End of discussion. Those who practice homosex hate God.

Come on JY not all homosexuals have a hatred for god. And yes Roberto we need to pray that the Holy Spirit works in this young mans life to help him with this sin but we also need to pray for each other for the Holy Spirit to help deal our own sin also.

Well good that Smith was suspended for desecrating the Holy Bible. That very act by Smith is proof that homosexuals have an intense hatred for God and the Bible.
