Krauthammer On Obama's Apology: "The President Now Is Toxic"

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: The president now is toxic. The thing is called Obamacare. There's no running away from it. It's got his name on it. You see the president, you think about the policy and you know it's a disaster. And the problem for the Democrats is, they are hostage to a bunch of geeks working right now late into the night trying to fix a system which is not just the glitches we talked about. The architecture, the underlying structure of it is wrong.

Republicans are going to have to make up their minds are they going after social issues (though note: The Inadequacy of Moralism ) or economic issues, they might be able to win on one platform or the other, but I really doubt both, that is just too much for the electorate to swallow.
Oh Jim, shall we make victims out of the entire nation?

Jim is ok. He won't participate in the unscriptural parts to Obamacare.

Jim, to repeat AGAIN (maybe you will get it this time) a post from earlier that REFUTES your statement that universal healthcare was a Republican idea with hopes that you will stop spreading misinformation

NYT, April 16th, 1976 by Robert Reinhold.

"WASHINGTON, April 16 Jimmy Carter said today that he favored nationwide mandatory health insurance to be financed through employer and payroll taxes as well as general tax revenues."

Seems like it favored a Kennedy-Corman health security plan favored by Humphrey, Jackson and Udall all democrats.(from documented Wikipedia article on Jimmy Carter)

Speaking of misinformation, the republicans HAVE offered alternatives to Obamacare

http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/lt1800/republican-study-committee-offers-obamacare-altern

They offered SEVERAL amendments during the bill process that were all rejected by the Democratic majority.

Ball in your court my friend TELL ME HOW IF JIMMY CARTER AND EDWARD KENNEDY SUPPORTED THE PLAN IN 1976. it originated with Republicans 13 years later? (a plan they have since repudiated, where do we see ANY democrat repudiating Obamacare--of course some will during next years elections)

I thought the BBC article was quite tame, I would suggest you actually read it. It's not nearly as so straight forward as Mr. Martell's article, 'Are the Republican candidates all crazy?'. I would even say he pointed out that especially the point of view of the British and more liberal folk. He's much more balanced that what I can tolerate to hear from the right wing radio commentators of American radio. Do any of them not spout nonsense in an 30 second period of their tirades? Alright perhaps Dennis Prager would make sense. Left & Right Voices in Talk Radio & TV. In some of his writings David Limbaugh does too.

I am surprised Krauthammer is so tough on Obamacare, Romneycare, or what is the original Republican Health Care plan, q.v., Republican Origins of Democratic Health Care Provision

Don't you just love deceptive leftwingnut editorialization of the news? Jim does.
Even if Jim depends on government assistance to live and is fearful of the right, it doesnt justify this

So Lincoln, you are justifying your disdain for the Christian Right with articles by the BBC now?
What next? Quotes from the Quoran?
