I noticed the same thing you all pointed out, not many hits on the really important things..really devastating perscution. They pray for us in our prosperity and ask for our prayers that they stay firm and true in their faith. Precious brothers and sisters in the Lord, may He grant you peace and strenght in the midst of your suffering. That you may bring light to those in the darkness of this world. You so inspire me in America to remember that God allows suffering to bring us closer to Him..to trust in nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness. We need each in these dark times that is coming upon this world even now. God bless and keep you in His everlasting love.
@Shane....your comment made me think how true that statement of a fattened calf was to my life also. Another interesting observation...not many post to the articles that speak of the persecutions of our brethren in foreign lands.but plenty of hits when it comes to where they can pontificate on various subjects. Praying for dear brethren in the world that are hounded and martyred for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Praying also for the Laodicean church that is prevelant in this country.
yes, they pray for us, and our false prosperity. the simple faith that they experience when everything else is wiped away, praise God for the testimony of the persecuted church. May we be strengthened to remain in the faith during tribulation. May they be strengthened to face tribulation and may the powers of darkness be broken by the light of Christ. May Christ be spoken of again in North Korea in the open. Amen.
This article was a real blessing to me. Our brethren in NK pray for themselves not to be delivered from their persecution but that they'll remain faithful in the midst of their suffering. They pray for us because they feel we are persecuted by our prosperity and it distances us from God.They pray we will remain faithful to the Lord! Praying for them and us.
