Consumer Reports advises people to ‘stay away from’ ObamaCare site
Consumer Reports magazine is urging readers to “stay away from Healthcare.gov” until software developers can fix the problems plaguing the site.

In a blog post advising consumers on how to navigate around some of the most common issues, Consumer Reports concluded that it's not even worth attempting to use the online portal until the fixes are in.

?“If all this is too much for you to absorb, follow our previous advice: Stay away from Healthcare.gov for at least another month if you can,” Nancy Metcalf wrote. “Hopefully that will be long enough for its software vendors to clean up the mess they’ve made.” ...

Ah, Mike of N.Y., it is obvious you aren't a Sam's Club Republican, which I would be more closely allied with --except for my educational level-- than the under-taxed Tea Party types! Sam’s Club Republicans Vs. the Tea Party.

You are swimming upstream, Jim. Good luck with that. But you do need stop calling yourself independent. True independents aren't so one-sided so much of the time. I'm one sided, and not ashamed to say so. Liberals seem not to be honest enough to self-identify. Their contrived imaginings about being mainstream won't let them.

I would still like to hear specific examples of Cruz demagoguery. What did he say to convince you of this?

I hope you're right. It'd be a lot stronger if more people payed their "fair share" of taxes, which would greatly increase awareness of how expensive government has become and how much we the tax-payers are paying for it.

Then again, if everybody paid their fair share, there might not even be a need for a tea party.

Mike of N.Y., you seem to forget I was a Republican (Northern division ) for years as was my family before me. Fought in the Civil War on the Union side of course.

I would suggest that you look at
Bill Moyers: How Wall Street Occupied America
, as I pointed out, and both Repubs and Demos get swatted at.

I haven't a doubt that the "Christian" "Democratic" Party won't disappear, " radical [Catholic] traditionalists in the U.S. are preaching anti-Semitism to as many as 100,000 followers. A few, such as the lawyer for Terri Schiavo's family, Christopher Ferrara, are even movers and shakers in important right-wing Republican circles." excerpt from, The New Crusaders. So, yes, many of us have become Independents, and will even vote Demo, to keep Tea Party out.

I really can't believe how many shorn sheep are out there! I'm hoping that the moderate Republicans especially the Northern ones, boot the Tea Party faction out! This fellow is a little liberal for my taste, but still he makes some good points for the GOP, .washingtonpost.com/blogs
John Boehner’s next big test: Immigration.
Bill Moyers, Bill Moyers, Bill Moyers, Washington Post bla bla bla

The Tea Party faction as you call it, is here to stay. It is a growing movement, not a party of the dead, like the GOP, or the party of the degenerate, like the Democrats. The faction you call "moderate" has no future, for it has no backbone, nor the support of the country. They are the Whigs of the 21st century, and will end likewise. Maybe we'll eventually have two choices in political philosophy. I should think an independent like you would be all for it, rather than clamoring for two Democrat parties.
