Pope Francis: ‘I Believe In God, Not In A Catholic God’
Pope Francis has been making headlines ever since he was elected the Roman Catholic Church’s leader six months ago, and now he’s getting even more attention. “I believe in God, not in a Catholic God,” he said in an interview, essentially taking a dig at the Catholic Church hierarchy by condemning its “Vatican-centric view.”

“I believe in God, not in a Catholic God. There is no Catholic God, there is God and I believe in Jesus Christ, his incarnation,” the pope said in the interview with the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, as quoted by the Inquisitr. “Jesus is my teacher and my pastor, but God, the Father, Abba, is the light and the Creator. This is my Being. Do you think we are very far apart?” ...

PCA Pastor Peter Leithart:

"I’m talking about cross-Christian conversions, from Protestant to Catholicism or Orthodoxy, or the opposite. In calling such conversions “tragic,” I’m not suggesting that they always have adverse consequences for the convert. They may do, but not necessarily. In my view, someone who converts from drifting, unanchored liberal Protestantism to join a vibrant Catholic parish has made a step in the right direction, a step in the direction of Jesus.

"What I have in mind is the logic behind some conversions, namely, the quest of the true church. Protestants who get some taste for catholicity and unity, who begin actually to believe the Nicene Creed, naturally find the contemporary state of Protestantism agonizing (as I do). They begin looking for a church that has preserved its unity, that has preserved the original form of church, and they often arrive at Catholicism or Orthodoxy."

Since I have been around, many of us have posted the cold hard facts; the many heresies, Pagan rituals, and false dogmas, etc, line by line, that convict the Roman system. We can, and have, very easily proven that the Roman machine is diametrically opposed to the Word of God. This is very easily proven by their own words and teachings as compared to the Bible alone.
Anyway, there is such a wealth of evidence against them, and forgetting everything else, I can pick out many single doctrines that alone would be cause for me to leave, no run, from any church that dared teach them. For instance, praying to Mary/Saints...this practice alone, everything else aside, would have me running. The issue I take with this lone teaching/practice/endorsement, is that to me, praying to ANYONE ELSE other than Christ is no different than praying to another god, etc. To me, if one is not praying to Christ, then they are inadvertently praying to demons.
I just can't understand how it is that anyone can argue for, and condone, all that goes on within the one true church when she is so easily tried and convicted by God's Word.

He didn't mention Jesus Christ and His substitutionary death on the cross for His elect...just that He was his Teacher and Pastor....not his substitute or his Lord and Saviour.
Also he didn't say roman catholic God...he said catholic God...hmmmm.
Crafty old Jesuit !

Good verses Lisa! I wonder what Francis and his minions are doing when they "conjure" up Christ and sacrifice Him over and over. I believe they are keeping those that are already in bondage in bondage!

As it has been pointed out quite a few times by my pastor, it isn't what people of different faiths agree on that is important; it's what we disagree about. The present Franny, says he believes in God, but then, he also believes in the Roman Catholic goddess, Mary, What Is the Unique Role of Mary in Roman Catholicism and Is It Biblical?-Part 3. Franny's worship of Mary was pointed out in my pastor's sermons of Jesus Christ, Our One & Only High Priest and
Requirements of Every High Priest
.

So, it's great that Franny is correct on Jews, though of course, when the opportunity arises you can point out, See Acts 13:15-42 at Book of Acts, Chap. 13 to your Jewish friends.

Anyhow, note, Christian Palestinianism (PDF) and Some Christians get it.

I hope you have guessed that I used a tablet to enter the previous message, as indeed this one. Anyway, there appears to be no way to correct it. So in your mind rearrange the sentences, to make them reasonably logical.

I think we have to remember when Jesus was in the wilderness having his confrontation with Satan, thePope: The Jews are still "the holy root that produced Jesus.". the only thing he has gotten completely correct, I think.

the only thing that I have seen that he has gotten apparently, completely correct is the following:
