Tea Party Hero Ben Carson Targeted by IRS After Prayer Breakfast Speech
Noted neurosurgeon and emerging conservative spokesman Dr. Ben Carson (shown at right, signing book) said that he was targeted by the IRS after comments he made earlier this year at the National Prayer Breakfast in front of President Obama that were critical of America's current leadership. During the speech, with Obama seated directly to his right, Carson quoted several scriptures from the book of Proverbs, following up with comments about political correctness and âmoral decay and fiscal irresponsibilityâ that were widely interpreted as targeting the Obama administration. The speech has turned Carson into a âtea partyâ hero and has fueled talk of a possible run for public office.
But, according to Carson, the comments also earned him an audit from the IRS, the first he had ever encountered. While the tax bureaucrats passed the retired Johns Hopkins University professor and surgeon with flying...
Btw..I believe the Harlot Church will be the Church made up of the World Council Churches..United Methodist etc.I went to a Methodist Church for a fewr years and was shocked at how they believed..the preacher would preach on Jesus not really born of a virgin..tore apart and explained away all the miracles. So there was a group of us that got together and met once a week led by me from a Baptist back ground. There will always be a remnant that God will have in every church, every demonation that have not bowed to Baal..I was led out by God because of my wanting to go where my kids could be raised in my beliefs..others raised in that church stayed and was light and salt.I certaintly don't judge them for staying..still hear from them even though I have moved on.
John, it would be really hard for me to hate the RCC, I have friends that are Catholic..there is a Catholic Hospital in our town along with another Hospital..our family always chooses St. Michael's when needed. Years ago I had major surgery and the Nuns were so kind to me..crosses in every room..made my recovery so much easier. Had cancer in 2004..my doctor wanted to send me anywhere I wanted..MD Anderson..Little Rock..I had already prayed about it..told God to show through my dr. where to go and said "I send my patients to Dr. Conners in Shreveport, La".It was a Catholic Cancer Center..best decision ever to go there..my dr.helped me get through those 5 yrs...every year I get a letter from that hospital asking me to answer guestions about my well being now..last check-up..what was the result etc. Nope can't hate the RCC..my son is a CRNA there now ( was at Baptist Hospitable in Little Rock) much happier here in his home town working at this hospitable.

Only someone who is mentally deranged believes that ELR makes the RCC look good. The rules of the RCC are not followed on ELR. The use of artificial birth control was alluded to and the oldest brother remarried without obtaining an annulment of the first marriage. Delores, Jim Lincoln has a pathological hatred for the RCC so naturally he is going to make up a lie that ELR makes the RCC look good.
I never watched but a few of the episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond and never in a million years would I have thought it was in anyway Romish, Jim. Like I said in my post I don't watch much TV to know much of anything about any of these shows. Didn't realize Miley Cyrus came from a Pentecostal Church..interesting because my husband's family are Pentecostal and I was judged for a lot by them from hair to make- up to allowing my kids to play sports..my daughter is 5'3" tall and played basketball..was aiways on first string. She would later go to college to become a coach. I could not for the life of me see what was wrong with playing sports..my boys played football, baseball made All Stars..I loved sports also and played sofeball, volleyball and soccer.
It isn't all that wholesome when it makes the Romish Church look good Delores. One wonders why so many Romish publication are so worked up about Miley Cyrus, who apparently is a Pentecostal who went bad? Is it because she worked what use to be one of the most Catholic of companies, Disney Productions? They almost act as if she were a member of the Romish Church.
Unlike many people, and no I didn't watch when she was a teenager and now as a bad-acting woman, but I will say it does appear she actually has talent. For a non-Catholic comment about her, America's Cultural Chasm.
No, making the Romish culture look good, such as "The Blue Bloods," etc., is not really a service to Christians, and Christian parents can point out what's wrong with that culture to their children, when they watch such shows as, "Everyone Loves Raymond," or "The Blue Bloods."
Perhaps it would better if children were barred from watching t.v.?
Btw, John, I was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and had a friend that her parents sent her to a Catholic School called Sacred Heart Academy but can't remember the city it was in. I wanted to go so bad with her but my mom didn't want me leaving home so she bought me a car..I have always regretted not going.
John Y..I have watched Everybody Loves Raymond..very funny and wholesome I thought..never watched The Middle, I'll try to catch that one, also. Yes, I know Threes Company was not that bad compared to what we see now ( that's why they laugh about it now..actually it was very funny.)

Very hard for me to find anything worth watching anymore..I miss Gillian's Island, I Love Lucy and many others. My kids laugh about me not allowing them to watch Three's Company becsuse it was so bad. The only one on tv that they were not allowed to watch. Times have changed..now it's dvds, cds and trying to find a good show that I feel comfortable watching!!
The Middle on ABC on Wednesday's is a decent family program for children to watch. Three's Company was tamed compared to most of the garbage on television now. Everybody Loves Raymond was another decent family program.
