Pope Francis stirs debate yet again with interview with an atheist Italian journalist

Pope Francis cranked up his charm offensive on the world outside the Vatican on Tuesday, saying in the second widely shared media interview in two weeks that each person “must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them” and calling efforts to convert people to Christianity “solemn nonsense.”

The Vatican’s head seemed intent on distancing himself from its power, saying church leaders “have often been narcissists” and “clericalism should not have anything to do with Christianity.”

The interview with atheist Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari set off another round of debate about what the pope meant: Was he saying that people can make up their own minds, even if they disagree with church teachings? Or was this self-described “son of the church” just using casual language to describe classic church teaching about how people need to come to Catholic doctrine of their free will? ...

Well, besides these sermons which contain quite a bit of commentary on Frannie, Jesus Christ, Our One & Only High Priest and
Requirements of Every High Priest

I should also add these Bible verses:

2 Corinthians 11
11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!
12 But what I am doing, I will continue to do, that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting.
13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds.---NASB

"calling efforts to convert people to Christianity “solemn nonsense.”"

Now those are definitely the words of the papal antichrist.

Does this mean that the RCC will not evangelise anymore to draw the gullible into their worldly net? Hope so.

There's one thing about the nonsense this anti-Christ speaks, it certainly isn't "solemn"

Matthew 28
18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."---NASB

Atheists need to watch out also, for "Rome when in minority is as gentle as a lamb, when in equality is as clever as a fox, and when in the majority is as fierce as a tiger."

Other churches have to be reminded what their founders said,"All things which the Pope from a power so false, mischievous, blasphemous and arrogant has done and undertaken have been and still are purely diabolical affairs and transactions for the ruin of the entire holy Christian church and for the destruction of the first and chief article concerning the redemption made through Jesus Christ."--Martin Luther excerpt from, The Pope and the Papacy.

"Asked if there is a single vision of good, and who decides, Francis says: 'Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is good .?.?. Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and fight evil as he conceives them. That would be enough to make the world a better place.'"

Hmmm... If memory serves me right, haven't we heard something like this before...?

“No! You will not die,” the serpent said to the woman. “In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4, 5)

The serpent is alive and well! It would do one well to flee to Christ and away from this abomination.
