How Obamacare Will Subsidize Abortion
With all the attention focused on Ted Cruz’s attempt to defund Obamacare in the continuing resolution, some of the law’s parade of horribles are momentarily out of view. Come October 1, those horribles will resume their onward march as the law’s impact on subsidizing elective abortion will begin to become clearer.

One area that deserves special scrutiny is the feature known as Multi-State Plans (MSPs). This provision of Obamacare represented a partial victory for progressive forces who favored a national, single-payer system. In its place they accepted a category of health-insurance plans managed by the Office of Personnel Management under contracts with private insurance companies. Unlike the federal employee health plans, which are available only to federal workers and their families, these MSPs are guaranteed a place on each state (and District of Columbia) health-care exchange and will ...

Bankrupting the country is a horrible idea. Destroying the medical community does not bode well for subsequent generations. If the last generation was the greatest. Ours is by far the most selfish.

Of course Obama will throw in his favoritest charity of all: abortion.

The unaffordable healthcare act is already an unmitigated disaster. It has raised healthcare premiums to 2 to 3 times their cost and forced many workers to lose hours. The multiple taxes have added to the burden to the poor and middle class. It has NEVER been about providing healthcare to the masses as there are still millions uninsured. It is a way to add more union (particularly IRS) workers to the government payroll, including unionization of healthcare providers. As far as prenatal care, if your definition of it is the destruction of the human then this will accomplish that as they will have more abortifacts out there and start to terminate pregnancies where they see genetic defects. It will go the road of all universal healthcare by making for long waits for less care. They have already quotes from CBO that is going to cost wayyyyy more than original estimates. It is beyond me how Jim from Lincoln would think that is a great idea.
Jim thinks you can have one foot on solid ground, and one in dung, and come out smelling sweet.

What do you think, US. Will we get the $2500 savings Obama promised in monthly payments of $208.33, or will they just reduce our medical bills by that amount?

1)Waiting for the biblical evidence that supports government universal healthcare. Provide it, and I'll think about it.

2)Your view on the abortion thing reminds of the politician who says the undiscerning copout "I'm personally against it, but women have rights to make decisions about their own bodies."

3)Thanks for the quote from another far left wing-nut, the right respectable Mr Grayson. It reveals even more about Mr Independent than it does about Republicans, doesn't it?

Mike of N.Y., I think I have always supported Universal Health Care, I'll vote against any politician whose against it! I suggested in another thread if the GOP wanted to take the high ground they could very well have refused to fund that portion of the ACA that deals with abortions. Since they have whored themselves out to the Plutocracy of this country, (and a few in Congress are part of it, all the rest, want to join it, q.v. Full Show: Plutocracy Rising) they of course won't do that. They work for just this small group of people at the disadvantage of the general populace.

So, I make absolutely no pretense of supporting Universal Health Care and removing support for abortion techniques, and always have. "The Republican health care plan is this: 'Don't get sick, and if you do get sick, die quickly.'" Congressman Alan Grayson, Florida 8th District.

If more births then abortions are going to be subsidized, then it should be made well known that there is going to be a support for the women and their children, and adoption services provided for the mother, if for some reason the woman wants to give up her child.
I never liked the abortion portion of Obamacare. One way to make sure it isn't used is to make sure there is support for wedded and unwed mothers.
Mix in a little more leaven, Jim.

As long as Christian tax dollars pay for 50% + 1 live births, then Jim Lincoln will lose no sleep at all. Once the number of abortions exceed the number of births, he'll suddenly avocate against Obamacare.

It will also subsidize births,

Fact: Before ACA, prenatal care wasn't normal women's care. Some 87% of insurance plans on the individual market did not offer maternity or labour and delivery as part of their coverage package.

Women have been going into debt, declaring bankruptcy, ruining their lives; all to give birth.
