Rand Paul wants Chief Justice Roberts, all federal workers, to enroll in Obamacare

Arguing federal workers should not get special treatment, Rand Paul says he does not want taxpayers subsidizing the personal health-care plans of any federal employee — including Chief Justice John Roberts — anymore.

With some in Congress arguing lawmakers and their staff should not get subsidies to cover their health insurance as President Obama’s health-care law goes into effect, the Republican senator from Kentucky told The Daily Caller on Sunday that he’s going to start pushing a constitutional amendment that goes even further.

Paul’s proposal — outlawing any special exemptions for government employees — would mean all federal workers would have to purchase health insurance on the new Obamacare exchanges instead of getting taxpayer-funded subsidies. Some critics say those subsidies amount to special treatment. The Obamacare health insurance exchange opens Oct 1. ...

Slightly off subject, but close enough. I once read(in an eco farm magazine) a quote that sticks in my mind. "It is more profitable to search for a cure for cancer, than to find it."

affordable was the gal I knew who used something you get at the grocery store. the tumor disappeared. the gal I knew who spent a few dollars on a mineral supplement. the doc said she had some "restless leg syndrome". the gentleman who brought down cholesterol. he took something for a few dollars.

but of course, that's not real science.

science is spending thousands to inject fecal matter into a patient that has lost gut flora while in the far east they just eat pickled vegetables everyday.

why do we act so helpless? because our "real scientists" tell us that we need to put a million more into marathon fund raisers to "save" us, it boggles the mind to think they would not mention thermography? why?

we've massive numbers of people now that have found cheaper viable ways to solve some of the problems we face....

Unequal application of the law is already unconstitutional, isn't it? Since there seems to be a lack of accountability, maybe an amendment would make it clear.

You might have to explain why an amendment clarifying the equal application of law to the employees of government so they might abide by the rules they make, is messing around with the Constitution.
