57% believe in the devil
A majority of Americans believe in the devil, especially blacks and women, according to a new national poll about exorcism.

The YouGov survey found that 57 percent believe the devil lurks; 72 percent for African Americans and 61 percent for women. Republicans said the devil exists more than Democrats, 65 percent to 55 percent.

The poll coincides with terrible headlines again filled with disasters, killings and reports that the new Pope Francis is obsessed with the devil and exorcisms.

GS, I'm with you. I have often said in this forum that Satan's greatest masterpiece is the Roman machine. I guess if we want to concentrate on religions, then Islam would fall next in line, alongside Mormonism, Buddism, Scientology, Jehovah's Witnesses, apostate churches, Satanism/Paganism, Athiesm. I don't know if I have the correct order as far as followers. Religion, as a whole though is his greatest feat of mass deception. The Roman machine has been involved in, directly or indirectly, the worlds greatest crimes agaist humanity. Think about it...Christ was tortured and crucified by order and at the hands of the Roman procreate, an estimated 50M murdered during the inquisitions by order of the Popes, Hitler's genocide, supported by Rome, and Romes support of Mussolini. Rome has not changed, but society has so they can no longer operate with impunity, in "civilized" nations anyway. They no longer murder by the sword, but have developed very crafty doctrines, fatal doctrines, that their "representative of Christ on Earth" encourages, enforces, and orders to follow blindly.

Yes Satans magnum opus is the roman catholic religion.
Some who post on this forum are deceived by it.many in evangelical circles have joined with them thru social concerns and causes,
giving the world the impression that we are just one big happy slappy Christian family.

Satan's favorite tool is religion, especially ones that on the out side seem pious and holy, but are actually filled with doctrines of devils. To the Bible believer they are easy to spot, but the lost fall for every time. Satan's magnum opus (masterpiece) is the Roman Catholic church. He currently has over a billion followers with that one. As well as Islam.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also is transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

One of Satan's greatest feats of deception is remaining, for the most part, silent and invisible. Nothing tangible to say, "see, there he is, or "see, he does exist". He and his angels whisper, oppress, and possess, driving the weak to do their will while they sit back and laugh at God while many blame Him for the evil in the world.
I've always wondered though how it is that Satan can remain so silent. Being so full of pride, I would think he would want all to know he exists and how powerful he is. I would think that he would want his name in lights and would want the people of the Earth to visibly witness the power of his armies, etc.
