Petraeus calls on Congress to back White House on Syria
Retired Army Gen. David H. Petraeus, former CIA director under President Barack Obama, called strongly Saturday for Congress to back the White House on Syria, declaring that military action against the regime is ‚Äúnecessary‚ÄĚ to deter ‚ÄúIran, North Korea and other would-be aggressors.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúFailure of Congress to approve the president‚Äôs request would have serious ramifications not just in the Mideast but around the world,‚ÄĚ Petraeus said in a four-sentence statement provided to POLITICO.
Oil is not remotely the issue in sy. They haven't exported for 2 years. We are importing less from Mideast than ever. Nor is the issue that children were killed by chems. No one cared when they were being killed by bombs and guns. Now we act righteous? (and I do mean act) O wants a war. Why?
Mike -- in 2000 SadHuss announced that he would trade outside of the petrodollar, use the euro for oil --once they were invaded, trade was returned to us dollar. this week G20 will likely lead to more currency deals with china outside of petrodollar. you know, when they dump the petrodollar, will it be the americans (and nations that use it as their in country currency) that will hold the debt of this currency in decline? now what was that about this all being about elections in 2014?

It's not about sy. It's about distraction. 2014 is coming, needful to change focus from domestics to foreign intrigue, or else the agenda and legacy may be lost.
