Southern Baptists say no to gay weddings for military chaplains
The agency that commissions Southern Baptist military chaplains says no Baptist chaplain will be allowed to perform, attend or support a same-sex wedding either on or off base.
The Southern Baptist Conventionâs North American Mission Board released guidelines on Aug. 29 stating that endorsed chaplains will not âoffer any kind of relationship training or retreat, on or off of a military installation, that would give the appearance of accepting the homosexual lifestyle or sexual wrongdoing.â
As pastors are being sued for seeking out I will give it a month before someone sues SBC over this if not the government itself labeling SBC as a hate group. As for me I support them and though all our Theo doesn't line up I'm glad that at least one major denom. is taking a stand finally as I'm Canada polygamy is fighting for its rights and Russia has seen an up serge in bestiality(wretched radio) I pray for there souls.
These guidelines are totally superfluous as the Bible is clear that gay weddings are unacceptable. All Christians already got this memo 2,000 years ago. Is an SBC chaplain confused about these matters?
