Obama’s Surprise Press Conference Statement: ‘I Didn’t Set a Red Line’ on Syria

President Barack Obama said a potential invasion of Syria is not about his credibility, nor the “red line” comment he made last year with regards to the use of chemical weapons.

“I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line,” Obama said Wednesday during a joint press conference with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt in Stockholm.

He went on to refer to the Chemical Weapons Convention, signed by more than 180 countries and ratified by the U.S. Senate.

“The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world’s population said the use of chemical weapons are abhorrent and passed a treaty preventing their use even when a country is engaged in war,” Obama said. “Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Jim, I'm on your side. I think what has happened here is it Com-In-Chief is color blind! He didn't a really KNOW it was a red line; he though it was a GREEN line! Man, what a relief to know the Pres is actually a great guy, out there to make the USA a better place for us all!

Now, I have to take my pills, as the attendants here want to make sure all of us patience in the ward take them on time. But I'm glad I am not the only one here who understands what a great guy he is indeed!

Evidence and relevance of chemical warfare? Response to what, Jim? You surely don't think the prez has concern for the Syrian people, do you? He doesn't even care for newborn babies. It's chaos he wants, and he has found a way, in his mind, to achieve it, along with the help of his bobble-head Democrat yes-men and some dumb-as a-stick Republicans.
