Iowa Democrat prayer: Thank God for abortionists!
They made the unusual decision, for Democrats, to begin the event with a prayer. This was likely in response to a prayer vigil being conducted by pro-life activists at the same time nearby.

Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and a half minutes thanking God for abortion rights, abortion doctors and taxpayer funding for abortions. She also referred to the decision to have an abortion as ‚Äúa blessing‚ÄĚ.

During the entire prayer, State Senator Jack Hatch and Rep. Tyler Olson, both of whom are running for governor, kept their heads bowed and eyes closed, joining in the group prayer. ...

Hi Frank...interesting comment about possible possession. I say this because even though mankind is capable of many terrible things, some surprise me more than others. I am not surprised when an Athiest fights against God, I am not surprised when a Satanist openly reviles God, and I am not surprised when homosexuals try to use the Bible to support their lifestyles, etc, etc, but...when anyone is so completely deluded, deluded to the point that they actually have the mental fortitude (?) to pray to God almighty for His assistance in financing and murderng that which He, Himself creates and calls precious; believing that He is actually going to intervene on your behalf; going directly against everything He is, well...as you said, "wow".
You really have to wonder about anyone who is capable of what this lady has done...
Hi Chris. I agree this lady really went over the line. I did a study on demon possession one time, but ended up with more questions than answers. But, I concluded the manifestation doesn't always have to be someone ranting and raving and that sort of thing. Everytime I listen or hear about something like this, I simply want to go HOME!

I only managed to listen to about 1 minute of this and had to quit. But it is very interesting that the speaker said the fairer sex has 45 million murderers in their number. I knew the number was high, but wow!

I also am seriously wondering whether or not this lady is demon possessed?

"Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and a half minutes thanking God for abortion rights, abortion doctors and taxpayer funding for abortions"

Murderers can pray all they want the god which they follow doesn't listen to them.

Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

"...we pray for women to receive more taxpayer financial support to perform abortions and have access to contraception..."

I don't know what sort of church this woman attends, but, huh? She is actually praying to God; asking for His assistance to provide funding to help continue their cause...murdering his children, and praying to Him, asking that He intervene and take action against those who try to stop such barbarianism?
I watched the video and I just can't believe that anyone is deluded enough to really believe that God supports them, their murdering mothers, and the doctors who encourage and perform such attrocities.

What an absolute abomination for that Democratic politician to offer that prayer to God thanking God for abortionists and abortion.
