Pennsylvania Pastor Responds to Atheist Lawsuit By Installing More Ten Commandments Monuments

A Pennsylvania pastor is responding to a lawsuit filed by a prominent atheist activist group surrounding the presence of a Ten Commandments monument at a local junior high school by installing numerous other monuments throughout the community and surrounding area.

As previously reported, Thou Shall Not Move, led by Pastor Ewing Marietta of Liberty Baptist Church, was founded as an effort to help support the Connellsville School District after it was sued by the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) last year over a Ten Commandments monument on school property. The Wisconsin-based atheist group had filed the lawsuit against the district on behalf of a woman and her daughter who claim that they are disturbed by the monument’s presence.

“[Plaintiffs] contend that a public school district has no right to instruct its captive audience of impressionable students on which god to have, how many gods ...

This very same athiest group recently demanded that a biblical phrase on a stone monument to fallen veterans in Woonsocket, RI be removed. The monument stands on common, public ground, along with another monument to fallen firefighters in the same town, outside a fire station that they wanted removed. The woman from WI said that a resident called the group to complain about the scripture references saying they were offensive. People have become litigious for the sole reason that it is easy money.
An athiest highschool girl in Cranston, RI recently sued the town over a scripture reference on school property and was awarded a judgement of 100k for her pain and suffering. Pathetic.

Good for him! God's Word tells us, "The fool has said in his heart there is no God." This foolishness is on display in all its fullness by people who spend all their time fighting against this God they say doesn't exist. If He doesn't exist, they should get over it and move on. But they can't because His existence and power is seen in creation. And their heart convicts them of their guilt before this Holy God and so they try to remove all mention of His Name in order to silence their conscience. George Washington said, "It is impossible to rightly govern without God and the Bible." The Bible tells us, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Therefore, a godless nation cannot remain free. "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Soli Deo Gloria!!!
