Homosexuality: "It's a Sin, but I'm not Against It"

Responding to the question, Is it bigoted to believe that homosexual practice is sin?, they both said No, with one of them explaining, “Being gay is a lifestyle. Having gay sex is a sin.” (This, of course, begs the question, How many people live a “gay lifestyle” without having sex?)

When asked why they were at the gay pride event, they stated with enthusiasm that they were there to support people that they love. (To watch the entire, extraordinary video interaction, click HERE.)

The same girl reiterated that gay sex was sinful, but supporting the gay pride event didn’t mean she agreed with it since, again, being was a “lifestyle.”

When asked once more if she believed gay sex was sin, she replied, “It’s a sin but I’m not against it. I think you’re forgiven no matter what.” ...

Simple, but perfectly worded.

To me, the mere fact that she knows that homosexuality is a sin, tells me that she knows better but has made a conscious decision to live and believe as she sees fit, even if it's in direct defiance of God because, according to her, no matter who you are, what you do, what you say, what you believe, all go to Heaven...no matter what....no matter what.
Maybe she doesn't know better, I guess, but what bothers me is that she knows thay homosexuals along with the things they do are sin, yet had chosen to completely disregard it, even though she must know why they are sin as well.

"Homosexuality: "It's a Sin, but I'm not Against It"

This is the type of ideology which comes from many churches and the politicians. I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised it filters down to the streets. The brain washing of the acceptance of homosexuality comes from churches, governments, judiciary, media and tv drama. All of these perverted sources mitigate the abomination whilst rebuking all things truly Christian. Thus the Bible believing Christian is raised publically to be the discriminator and the nasty person. Satan is being allowed to become powerful on this one and is destroying the church.

The young lady makes her error in not knowing the scriptures. Perhaps where she attends church the truth is not preached. Maybe she does not attend at all. What she refers to as "Lifestyle" is called vile affection by God.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Romans 1:26 KJV
The affection itself is sin. The out working of this inward affection is gay sex. The sex and affection or "love" as they call it are both sin. Real love does not participate in sin as we read in
1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Homosexuality remains biblically wrong on three counts. The first is vile affection. The second is the very act and the third which is often over looked is fornication.

One simply cannot be Christian and pro-sodomy. The two are complete opposites, incompatible, mutually exclusive, and irreconcilable. Embracing one means rejecting the other, every time.

There is certainly a tendency in this day and age to tack the prefix of "Christian" onto just about anything and everything. But what thus saith the Lord in His Holy Word? Previous posters have already shared relevant Scriptures. Sodomy is an abomination against God, and He will judge it accordingly. How far we have fallen for this to be promoted as normative. Lord, deliver us!

1 Corinthians 10:21 KJV
[21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

1 Timothy 5:22 KJV
[22] Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

2 John 1:11 KJV
[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Revelation 17:1-2,5 KJV
[1] And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: [2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. [5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH .

Revelation 18:4-5 KJV
[4] And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. [5] For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

"There is a generation that curses its father and does not bless its mother. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, yet is not washed from its filth. There is a generation - how haughty its eyes and pretentious its looks. There is a generation whose teeth are swords, whose fangs are knives, devouring the oppressed from the land and the needy from among mankind." (Proverbs 30:11-14)

"Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s sanctuary have with idols? For we are the sanctuary of the living God, as God said: I will dwell among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people. Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you." (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)

"Its a sin but I'm not against it. I think your forgiven no matter what."
There is so much wrong with that statement. First how is a professing Christian not against sin? Second, yea your forgiven no matter what if you REPENT of your sins (which would include homosexuality if you struggle with that) and believe on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as your only means of salvation. Someone who is truly saved will not take part in something like that. These homosexuals are not saved no matter what they are on their way to hell unless the repent and get saved. Besides Paul made it clear that just because your saved doesn't mean you should continue in sin.
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?

These young ladies need to actually read their Bibles, especially Romans chapter one. Of course I seriously four that they're really saved either. Its absolutely disgusting to see two people claiming to be Christians and supporting something so morally reprehensible.
Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.
