GOP Leaders Won’t Use Budget Battle to Defund ObamaCare
Despite pressure from conservatives — including over a third of the House Republican caucus — Republican congressional leaders have indicated that they have no intention of using upcoming budget negotiations to defund ObamaCare.

“There is little enthusiasm among Republican leaders on Capitol Hill for the campaign, led most publicly by Senator Ted Cruz [R-Texas], to defund parts of Obamacare in the continuing resolution [CR] that would fund the government beginning October 1,” reported the Weekly Standard.

October 1, coincidentally, is the day open enrollment in ObamaCare’s insurance exchanges is set to commence. The exchanges are the means by which Americans without employer-sponsored health insurance are supposed to meet the individual mandate’s requirements. ...

Jim, the children are not murdered because:
1 they are unaffordable, Medicare already paid/pays for indigent mother's delivery and all reproductive care for 2 years after the birth, to include "the pill", Depo-provera, and/or iuds.
If somepne cannot afford to raise their child, they get much financial assistance, heard of FAMIS, Food Stamps, etc? The possibility of adoption also presets itself, a noble beautiful gift for those who cannot conceive, and the recipients also are frequently payong much of the medical bills and coucilling(sp?) fees, recognizing the emothional trama that "losing" a child can cause, even when they are cared for quite well.

2 Women were not ruining their lives giving birth. Many have found their lives after giving birth, and the joy that children bring. Many have ratjet caused ruin to large parts of their heart, mind, and body having abortions.

3 The chidren were not murdered for lack of prenstal care,. for centuries, and even now, women regularly give birth without seeong a Dr until delivery, if then in many places.

These children were murdered for convienience, no matter what "reason" is used, it all comes down to convienience.

Ah, I see! Therefore we should give women health care so they don't murder their children. Perhaps we should give thieves money so they won't steal? Or how about free legal drugs so they don't have to use dirty needles etc.

How about this; force women who are pregnant to have their children and make it a capital offense to have an abortion. If that happened, then my guess is most abortions would cease.

Or, here is an idea that is not so radical. How about telling women not to have sex unless they are married. And if they do, then they must undergo the consequences of doing that. I remember the day when they had what was called "shotgun weddings". Not a bad idea.

Jim, pregnancy is not a health issue, or am I misunderstanding you? Let's see, Mary was not married, was poor and could have been stoned to death. And yet she had our Lord and Savior. And that was without Obamacare. NOT A HEALTH ISSUE!

Something of a wise decision. There's the Albuquerque story that was put up a little later about trying to stop abortions. Another way to help stop abortions? Obamacare!
BBC News wrote:
Fact: Before ACA, pre-natal care wasn't normal women's care. Some 87% of insurance plans on the individual market did not offer maternity or labour and delivery as part of their coverage package.

Women have been going into debt, declaring bankruptcy, ruining their lives; all to give birth.

excerpt from, ...the Affordable Care Act finally makes healthcare affordable and accessible for women.

Now the parts of it that don't discouraged abortion, I wish were done away with, but still the theology of the Republican Christian:

James 2
14 What use is it, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?---NASB

Ah, leaves a lot to be desired.
