Remember the Mohammad cartoons from Denmark...? "After the issue received prominent media attention in some Islamic countries, Muslims held protests across the world in late January and early February 2006, some of which escalated into violence resulting in a total of more than 200 reported deaths, attacks on a number of Danish and other European diplomatic missions, attacks on churches and Christians, and a major international boycott." (Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy, 2006)
We can all breath a sigh of relief that it doesn't say "Mohammad is dead"! (cue sarcasm)
"But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you have knowledge. I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar, if not the one who denies that Jesus is the Messiah? This one is the antichrist: the one who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son can have the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as well."(1 John 2:20-23)
"students read the book each year, and the project is meant as a reflection of the play, not as a religious statement."
The phrase may well have a positive effect in bringing people to discuss the Lord since it refers to Him. This could be a good opportunity for evangelism. God brings good even out of bad as can be seen from our own conversions of sinner to Christian.
