Ted Cruz’s Father Tears into Obamacare, Says It Will ‘Destroy the Elderly’

Rafael Cruz—father of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) who’s fast becoming a popular speaker on politically conservative issues—tore into the president’s policies over the weekend, pointedly declaring that “Obamacare is going to destroy the elderly.”

Cruz, 74, said “this administration has both their hands in your pocket; they’re going to take everything you have,” ABC News reports, noting the crowd’s passionate applause to Cruz’s compelling arguments at the conservative Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa.

Near the end of his speech, he declared: “Obamacare is going to destroy the elderly by denying care, by even perhaps denying treatment to people who are in catastrophic circumstances.” ...

Bill Moyers, etc.
Yes Jim, sweep Repubs out, meaning replace with the degenerate Dems. Strange thing for a Christian to long for.

"Why Can't Obama Bring Wall Street to Justice"?

Because he loves the corporate welfare scheme, that's why. The real question is, why won't Congress bring Obama to justice?

Sweep Congress clean of Republicans. But, should something be done about banks for instance? I think it can. I have pointed out this article more than once. Neil Barofsky on the Need to Tackle Banking Reform and it has been pointed out several times, Why Can't Obama Bring Wall Street to Justice?

What is this??? According to the Moyer article sited by Jim from Lincoln, under Obama the poor and middle class are suffering but the wealthy are recovering?? How can this be, the president policies, according to him, favor the middle class. Yet unemployment still above 10% (if we use the measurement system used on the previous administration changed by the president right after he took office) Unemployment among minorities is through the roof. Just the opposite of what he said would happen with his policies is happening. Just like what we are seeing with the implementation of Obamacare. Maybe the president isn't being forthright. Can't blame what he inherited, by the numbers it was much worse under Carter (remember the misery index) and by now the economy was booming under Reagan and democrats were spending like there was no tomorrow.

Not really, jpw, Meet Ted Cruz, "The Republican Barack Obama". Before his supporters get all worked up, except for the title of the article and where it was printed, they will think this article is complimentary. I find it rather disheartening myself, but anyway... (Oh, and there's a little material about his father in it as well.)

Some has to ask the Cruz's why In This Recovery, the Rich Get Richer, but nobody else is!

By the way, Ted's father is talking nonsense, q.v., Fact Sheet: What the Health Care Law Can Do For You
