Two Shocking New Arguments for Abortion
Have you heard of the "Bro-Choice" movement? Its pledge asks men to be a "vocal advocate" for "reproductive justice" (the latest euphemism for abortion support). Here's an argument for their cause they may not have considered: "Your sex life is at stake. Can you think of anything that kills the vibe faster than a woman fearing a back-alley abortion? Making abortion inaccessible . . . will add an anxiety to sex that will drastically undercut its joys. And don't be surprised if casual sex outside of relationships becomes far more difficult to come by."

Does this argument shock you? Here's another that may do the same: bans on abortion after 20 weeks are a bad idea because they will make it harder to abort babies with Down syndrome.

Such bans are becoming more common and controversial. Eight states now have such bans; North Dakota's is set to take effect next month. The House of ...

Wow! So they want the pleasure of it, but not the commitment of having the product. Totally using what God designed for bearing a child as a filthy pleasure. It's sickening to see what society sees as acceptable. We need to reach the world with the gospel now more than ever before!

This is the traditional definition of prostitution. Hooker sex comprised fewer than 1% of encounters a generation ago. Now it's closer to 50% today and completely mainstream impacting every family. A sex crazed day has truly dawned.

It's a sad fact bro that there is hardly a soul who can correctly interpret the very simple to understand passage you quoted.

I clean forgot what eisegesis is now.

Hey Ho!

Excellent scripture Pilgrim. Now what the feminist movement "and" the evangelical feminists have done is reverse those roles, or say the roles are not applicable in today's culture. Now what would the church think if someone said; the man was the head of Christ, or that Christ was the head of God, etc. And yet, societies and most of the church gladly say the man is by God's design not necessarily the head of the woman. If we think one role can be reversed or be doubted, why not any of the roles noted.
GO FIGURE.
If someone reverses these roles, they are not in the faith, IMO.
All good points Pilgrim. It is issues like this that separate the whole-Bible men from all the others. I grow somewhat weary of people saying they follow the Bible, yet deny some of it because it clashes with their denominational position, or even their own preferences. God is glorified the most when we submit fully to his word.

Of course, charismatics and quakers claim to have the direct line to God by his Spirit. But the funny thing is, they end up doing things contrary to the revealed word of God. Funny that.

"Eccl 11:5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all."

Men are already culpable as well as nations in the murder of the unborn infant. The only way which the evil abortionists can stop the child having life in the world is by killing. Yet this appears to be something they are blind to.

Quote. "Everyone agrees that adult human beings have the right to life. Some people would say that the fertilised cell resulting from conception does not have the right to life. Therefore the right to life is acquired sometime in between those two points, and the big question is 'when?'" (BBC Ethics)

The word abortion used to mean miscarriage in the dictionaries prior to the 1970's or thereabouts. Today it means the medical person who goes into the womb and withdraws the life formed, at whatever stage, to kill that life.
Society during these decades has become less and less Christian - more and more morally corrupt.

Society and the church can be judged as becoming increasingly morally defective in these decades and abortion one of the products of the morally corrupt society we now have in western nations.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. Yes we have opposite sides of the coin, but the same coin!

My comment was only part of longer thing I wrote up. The other part dealt with carnal man that encouraged and supported the liberated women. My main thought is that carnal men won more than the carnal women, but please understand both are in fact carnal. The thing you and I will agree upon is that in your case and in my examples; it took carnal men and women to change God's role for men and women.

I’m sorry you had to undergo what you did growing up, but praise the Lord that He took you through it and it all worked for your good! I will thank God for your testimony this evening.

Now let's look at the other side of the coin..how many men have left their wives with children to take care for the liberated woman that saw nothing wrong with having affairs with their liberated women. My father was such a man..my home as a child was full of turmoil because of his drinking and womanising..finally us when I was 14 yrs old for his liberated woman..didn't hear from him for 2 yrs. Finally came back not because he loved us because he was a broken man. While he was gone my mother, a very pretty woman, never dated even though she was given many oppertunties. History repeated itself with me..married a womanizer..had a baby boy..he left me so sick with Toxic kidney disease, 8 months pregnant and next door to death the doctor told my mother. He did not give one dime of child support. I remarried..had 3 more children..was a stay at home mom..have had a wonderful blessed life and would not trade places with the liberated woman for a million dollars!!
