Hobby Lobby: Another Major Court Win Against Contraception Mandate
Christian retailer Hobby Lobby has won its second legal decision in a month in its ongoing battle against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contraception mandate, which requires employers to provide their employees with health insurance that includes free contraception ‚ÄĒ including drugs that can cause abortion.

On July 19 a federal judge in Oklahoma City granted the retailer and its sister business, the Mardel Christian book chain, a preliminary injunction preventing the federal government from enforcing the mandate against the businesses. The ruling follows on the heels of a landmark decision by the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled June 27 that Hobby Lobby's owners are free to follow their religious convictions under the First Amendment, and are likely to win their case against the mandate. ...

As long as we are quoting polls, the majority of Americans still oppose Obamacare

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters share a favorable opinion of the health care law, while 51% view it unfavorably. This includes 19% with a Very Favorable opinion and 38% with a Very Unfavorable one.

Bill, I can't get as excited as you about this moral victory, remember the importance for the Christian is to remember The Inadequacy of Moralism. This is only a minor, temporal victory. Take note: A majority of Americans oppose restrictions on contraception insurance coverage, says poll. While I like CS Monitor for it's articles lacking connotations either for or against an issue ( that is refreshing) and known for it's accuracy, this is all in spite of the fact that it was founded by a cult, the Christian Scientists, Religious Science and New Thought, If you haven't used up your free time on Encyclopedia Britannica look at this article, The Christian Science Monitor.

While we can happy with this temporal victory, it's infinitely more important tell people How to Have Victory Over Sin.

Excellent news, and a reminder to all to read the short (200-page) but excellent book by Hobby Lobby's president David Green, "More than a Hobby." And of course, if you have a store in your area, check it out!
