In a statement shared with The Christian Post, Labberton said the administration welcomes "the opportunity to engage over vigorous issues of debate within the church and within culture," and understands that their decision to allow an LGBT student organization on campus leaves the seminary "vulnerable to critique from a broad spectrum."

He added that OneTable is one among 24 student-led groups at Fuller, and provides a "safe place to discuss issues related to sexuality and gender – issues that are vitally important, personal, and fraught with debate that is ...

Mike of N.Y., you should see the whole article isn't complimentary of Fuller Seminary. but yes, if you realize What makes a liberal? then a "liberal intellectual" is an oxymoron.

Hmm. Isn't liberal intellectual an oxymoron? If one is truly intellectual, i.e. the brain is engaged, would one be liberal?

For the Biblically sensitive person, it is easy to see that the desire to compete with the intellectuals of the world will in a short time infect the intellectuals who see themselves as missionaries. This is the sad story of Fuller Seminary....

Augie,
You said it, this president is allowing evil into this school. A man who professes to be a brother in Christ, but is willingly living in sin is to be rebuked. If he does not repent, he is to be treated as a non believer. The president is caving to the spirit of the age and is, indeed, giving legitimacy to evil.

By allowing such an organization to engage in discussions with Christians lends legitimacy to the wicked and unbelieving. We are commanded to be simple concerning evil (Romans 16:9). I don't need to have conversations with the wicked to discover that their lifestyles are evil!

2Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

The president of Fuller said they are allowing the group in to "ignite a dialogue and understanding." What that always seems to turn into is, "You aren't listening!" because you don't agree with homosexuality and "You don't understand!" because you still believe it is a sin.

Wait a second...would you let a group of witches meet to discuss spells and coven memberships? Would you allow MANBLA to set up shop to discuss their personal exploits, goals, and argue their rights?
This Fuller is a born again Christian Institution? What's going in here and what kind of message does this send to those who are already against us? This gives more ammo to some, makes friends with those others who should not be our friends, and confuses those who are searching for truth.
Loads of traditional fornication going on to begin with. Heterosexual hook-ups always precede the homosexual variety.
