USA Today: Ban Too Soon for Down Syndrome Abortions

Texas' new anti-abortion law isn't sitting well with one of America's most popular newspapers.

USA Today's editorial board voiced their objection to the new law earlier this month. Click here to read full article.

In raising questions about the law, they argued that it makes it difficult for people to abort babies with down syndrome.

An excellent reply to John Y.!

as was also pointed out,

Simon Critchley and Jamieson Webster wrote:
In the gospel of authenticity, well-being has become the primary goal of human life. Rather than being the by-product of some collective project, some upbuilding of the New Jerusalem, well-being is an end in itself. The stroke of genius in the ideology of authenticity is that it doesn’t really require a belief in anything, and certainly not a belief in anything that might transcend the serene and contented living of one’s authentic life and baseline well-being. In this, one can claim to be beyond dogma.
excerpt from The Gospel According to ‘Me’.

They have about the same attitude about religion as you do John Y., pick and choose.

Frank/Angela, you expressed interest in critiquing my site on RC. Well, now that I've had a bit of time indoors due to the heatwave (108 degree feel-like today...yikes), I have finished building the graphics and have been working on content. I have a long way to go with the content and layout, but what I have will give you a basic feel for where I'm going with it.
If you're still interested in providing input, I can roll the entire site into a single file that I can email and you can use any browser to have a look.
If you don't have the time, that's ok.
Also, Frank...now that I have some time, I want to check out your "thesis".
You have my email address from Michael's mass emails. I am of course the one that sent the “AND” OUR TRUST IS THE LORD. I'll bet you already knew that.

Lastly, a thesis requires skill; therefore I refer to everything I write as meditations. They just require thought.

I don't want to start paying for a domain until I am much further along. Not everyone may be comfortable downloading a file from a stranger, so I'll check back when I can just give you a link to follow then.

Is that a fact? How is it possible that Doctors/nurses can make mistakes like that?
Great for your parents...what incredible people!

Life begins at conception and is never more a human being as it ages. Therefore it is murder to kill an innocent life regardless of when that occurs. The thought of murdering a baby because it has Down's Syndrome reminds me of Hitler's "useless eater" thoughts.

My parents have 5 adopted downs children, all unwanted, most scheduled abortions. My mom is an advocate for their adoption rather than abortion. She has countless stats on Dr's using this lie to push abortion, and many are aborted. But the sick thing is the ones that are pushed and lied to who don't abort and have a "normal" child. Then the Dr says ' whoops, my bad'. I am shaking this makes me so angry, they have learned deceit from their father and are becoming much more deadly with lies. The end has been foretold, no surprise, pray on Church. Speak with care and conviction, rise up for battle!
