Military: Christians Need Not Apply
In the latest move by pro-homosexual sycophants in positions of leadership in today’s military, orders are being issued to prevent openly religious soldiers from serving their country. Since lifting the ban on homosexuals openly serving in the military, troops are being coerced to either embrace the gay lifestyle or get out. Gay pride events such as those featured last month (in spite of massive budget cuts) were a blatant, in your face move orchestrated by the White House. Homosexuals don’t ask for acceptance; they demand it. And not only must Americans accept their behavior, we are now being forced to approve of it.

Technical Sgt. Layne Wilson, a 27 year veteran of the Utah Air National Guard, was reprimanded for his opposition to a homosexual wedding in the West Point chapel. In fact, he was told to retire because his personal views were incompatible with military policy. How have things ...

Good. Hopefully if they are truly saved then they can start acting like it. The Lord's army is in need of active soldiers.
Why would you denigrate our brothers and sisters who faithfully serve their country in the armed forces? Why would you speak down upon the many veteran's who sacrificed to give you the freedom you enjoy to post what you just posted? Are you suggesting that those who are faithfully serving God in the armed forces aren't fighting in the Lord's army also? I don't understand your post.

"Bush" - 1. Pavlovian response, used primarily in reply to news overdose, often not connected to the subject; 2. Midwestern slang term, meaning "I don't like that guy"

There haven't been Christians, except those who were drafted or volunteered for the big wars, since the Civil War as,
Abraham Lincoln wrote:
The will of God prevails — In great contests each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God. Both may be, and one must be wrong. God cannot be for, and against the same thing at the same time. In the present civil war it is quite possible that God's purpose is somewhat different from the purpose of either party — and yet the human instrumentalities, working just as they do, are of the best adaptation to effect this.
excerpt from Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural address.

I think servicemen should be honored and supported, be they Christian or not.

I thought there was going to be an opportunity for people like me to volunteer to replace young servicemen for local work as they could have went over to take out Saudi Arabia after 9/11. But Baby Bush, changed the National Anthem from "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" He wasn't going to attack his business associates. Nor did we put into effect The Bill of Rights in countries we did "help."

Jim -- thanks for your thoughts. yes, conscription would stop this nonsense.. liberals and dogooders would have their sons and daughters in the banana games, and suddenly it would be everyone's business to care.

jpw, no, what you heard about came right out the Vietnam war era. Naturally, like many I really, really hate Universal Conscription -- but it would stop Presidents like Banana War Bush from using our military for protecting family and friends' oil interests. It would be more likely fighting only necessary small or large wars. Now of course, we Vietnam draftees were probably some of the best educated that were ever in the Army, and even the Army was really not very anxious to make us cannon fodder. --But-- now we have some of the most patriotic people in the military, a valuable resource being destroyed wastefully, which in some respects it looks like govt. has of late. Even in the past even people with little or no formal education such as Sergeant York, were very valuable, and as a Christian we should consider every life valuable. A Universal Draft could be used to keep women and queers out of the military as well.

By the way, what crime? vigilante justice can't be in the military, but it will happen, unless..., e.g.3 decades on, who killed Skidmore town bully still secret.

ahhh! Jim! your comments wreak of 1952.

lawyers and the nanny state would put guys in the brig for your recommendations....

why would you say such things?

look at what is the number one cause of death for active duty and look at the number of sexual assaults in the military...hint, its not all women...

in fact, you are painting a picture of what you think the Christian viewpoint will be, for those who want to stereotype...this is no joke, our men will be in darwins adventures surrounded by sodom and gomorrah... for them to stand up against the perversions will be called a hate crime. I don't think you get it. May God judge rightly.

As I pointed Solem, queers will experience unofficial physical discipline by their fellow soldiers, to dissuade them from practicing their obnoxious sexual ideas. no matter what generals say. Now, military discipline could possibly break down, but the noncoms will say, "tut-tut," (ever hear a sargant say "tut-tut"? ) It will be something like that in EBE, extremely basic English, as long as the deviants aren't killed.

Naturally Satan is always busy in this world, his realm, what's surprising about that?

John 8:23 And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."---NASB

The Kingdom Of Our Lord Will Come.

I don't really think these 'generals' or whatever, who are making these silly decisions re Christians in the military are the core of this problem.
This is an attack on Scripture by Satan and his people in the world. What the enemy is trying to do is destroy the Church and Bible, and make them look discriminational towards the "poor" homosexual who is "born" with a different sexual orientation; - Which of course is a complete deception, a blatant lie which reprobates are daft enough to accept (just like evolution). But that is how Satan works in the world and influences his followers. Anybody with normal common sense can see that homosexual behaviour is abnormal and unnatural as God points out in Romans chapter one. But we should not underestimate the power of lust in the sinner and Satan's using it to corrupt mankind especially politicians and the people who "run" society. Gal 5:19-21.

Any of you have been in the military? First of all it's not a boy scout troop. The queers don't need to worry about Christians taken them out and "knocking some sense" into them. It will be the non-Christians, and of course, there are many in the military. The military was never a place for evangelization.

No, the fewer Christians who are in the military, the more "rough justice," there will be for queers.

Just like being a politician, well slightly more than a politician, a Christian really shouldn't go into that anyway, unless it's a case of a declared war, I really can't see why a Christian would be in the military. The military when you finally get down to it is to kill --no and it's not murder!-- for your country. I think a Christian should have a really good reason for doing that, however.

I would really suggest that you rent (perhaps it is even on YouTube?) the movie about Sergeant York

the gays are the immoral group that are being used to silence the Christian voice.

it is interesting to take a look at Michael Weinstein -- who considers the military members sharing biblical teaching on salvation and God's judgment as "antisemitism" -- interesting to look at his religion and his goals -- which are to silence Christians.

that's what this is about.

one way to look at it is ...the sodomites are just a tool for that end. taking down the boundaries of civilized behavior will not be beneficial to anyone.

I wonder if pastors will begin to bring this information into discussion in their churches or just keep sending their young men to the lion's den.

I though this was worth reading again since it packs a punch. The gays have taken over. I never thought I would see the likes of Sodom and Gomorrah resurrected, and all the while being approved of, promoted, and protected, the world over

Psalm 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
